- Die IMAYRA band geben eine live Vorstellung am Fernsehturm in Berlin.
Ich war eher zufällig da im Zuge des Tages der deutschen Einheit und nachdem ich am Lustgarten bereits die "herkömmliche" Version des musikverkaufenden Indianers gesehen hatte, kam diese etwas buntere Truppe dazu.
Ich war mir nicht sicher was für eine Sprache sie benutzt haben aber ich denke es dürfte auch hier Quechua (eine Sprache aus den Anden) sein.

Imayra dances fantastically, they literally fly! Sometimes I really don't understand how they do it with their breath, that they can sing and play wind instruments very well, and at the same time jump and dance in this incredible way... But also notice the two gentlemen in the back who take care of the music! They are the boys from Alborada, the great Don Sixto himself and Mr. Fernando (Qirwa Anka), he also played a lot with Alborada in Europe. There have always been many South American bands performing in the streets of European cities, but the vast majority of their music comes from the huge heart of dear Sixto Ayvar. After all, who wouldn't know all the legendary compositions of Alborada like Ananau, Chirapaq, Ponchito (which is featured in this video also), Wayrapa Muspuynin, Tatanka, Relampago and a million others? We owe all that beauty to this extraordinary guy from Ocobamba and the other beloved members of the Alborada group, Lennin and Victor.

I just love these guys these guys are fantastic these guys really can sing they can dance their native clothing is beautiful there handsome very handsome very nice guys very wonderful people very humble I've listened to all of their other videos and every last one of them is just picture perfect their dancing is just absolutely wonderful to watch because they just really know how to dance I really love these guys I think they're great and I'm always going to have a shout-out for Daniel I hope Daniel is coming along with his therapy if someone get let me know I would appreciate it because he he was a great dancer and a singer and I want him to dance and sing again thank you for the video I know it's an old video but I don't care it's a beautiful video and the dancing the music I love it well-presented thank you so much Ellen from USA Ohio

The costumes are exaggerated but seem to draw quite a crowd... Anyway, if they want to exploit the stereotypical German image of Northern American natives they might want to watch some "Karl May" movies or "Dances with Wolves" first.
These are their typical stage costumes, they wear them all the time. They are a band that travels around the world. In addition they are South Americans and not North Americans.
