Thank you Colleen, Sadly we just come back from Bali, Wont be there till 2025 sadly, Back home in Oz and back to that dreaded word called work. Haha Have a great time and be sure to let us know what you liked and not so much. Thanks for feedback.

Hope you both are well! I finally got to Kak Rebo!! It was very lovely, especially the garlic bread and the satay sauce on the chicken satay, so yummy! I had a lime squash, they didn’t have lemon, but it was the best drink I had in Bali for sure! Looking forward to watching your Vietnam videos when we return to Oz!

Keep up the good work! If someone like me attracted with your videos, it's because the honesty of the video. You didn't try to look professional, just daily vlog from normal people. And you did good job apart from harsh comment that you receive. I appreciate it.
We appreciate your honesty, music to our ears. Thats exactly why we do the videos, everyday people giving honest feedback, we appreciate some people wont be into us and that's the great thing about UA-cam is you can move on. We know there's plenty of keyboard warriors and plenty im sure know better but that's ok, we want people to have a good experience in Bali and if people can take a few things away with our videos then that's what we want. We appreciate what you said and like that we must be doing something right. We are just Bec & Matt , everyday people . Thanks for your honest feedback.
Thanks again guys. Another great video. Please keep reviewing the Warungs and Balinese traditional food. So many other Bali vloggers skip the Warungs 😊
agreed, love seeing people game enough to try local warungs its where u find the best food and service and help the locals... most of the big places to eat are very western and sometimes even western owned...
Great to hear! Have a great time , Wish we were back in Bali sadly back in oz and working. Be sure to let us know once you get home what worked and what was your favourite and what didn't you like. Have a great time. Thanks for feedback.
We love our dogs, Matt takes zip lock bags over and buys dog food and always has a bag in his bag for whenever we see dogs, As we say we can not save them all but give them a feed till tomorrow. Was going to do a video on the Bali dogs but decided to bring them into our videos as you don't have to walk far to ever see a cute street dog. Thanks for feedback.
Our pleasure! We love our dogs and might not save the world but if we can give them a feed then that's what we do. Thank you for your kind words Thanks for feedback.
I agree with Matt paying Australian prices that's why you never saw anyone else in the Coffee ☕️ Cartel but the Benny looked 👌 I might have to try it 😉 next week 😊
That will be music to Matt's ears, He always saying Bec if you want to pay western prices , May as well holiday in Oz. Was a great feed even though it was on the dearer end of our budget. Thanks for feedback.
@BecMattAdventures You are welcome 😊 we're watching another one of your Vlogs as I write this would love ❤️ to say hello 👋 to you guys when we're here in Bali
Legian shop was lovely food as well, It's just Matt doesn't like paying the money, Might have to go there myself hahaha. Thanks for thee tip. Thanks for feedback.
@MysteryRider1 No not at this stage, As we work full time in oz and do UA-cam as a hobby, For the moment we don't have the time to do a Facebook at the moment, it could eventually change but for time being no. We have looked at Facebook and instagram and tiktok and will look at these in the future. Thanks for feedback.
We went there a few days ago, very nice and cheap. Best coffee. Have you been at Duke Melasti? We went there last nite. Not so great, expensive, slow service. Great videos, keep up. We live in Bogor in the mountain area and visit bali often. Cheers Wolter
Hi Wolter, Thank you for your kind words, Bogor on Java , That's somewhere different , How do you like it, Must be different compared to Australia. Have you settled in there at Bogor as we have never been to java yet. No have not been to Duke as it's very new and like to give some time to find there feet and seem really touristy, But Duke is newest pub on Melasti. Thanks for feedback.
Your going at a lovely time if year, Be sure to let us know what was good and what was so not after your trip. Love to hear peoples experiences. Thanks for feedback.
Hi Bec and May, love your videos and always looking forward to your next travel adventure. My partner and I are heading for Bali in December for the first time. What travel insurance company do you think is the best? Cheers John and Dave
Hi John, Great question, in general we don't like to give advice on insurance due to everybody needs could be different, saying that foe us Matt is 50 and myself is 48 we generally use 2 companies, Our first preference is insure & go Bare essentials, when we not hiring scooter we take the Bare essentials from insure & go. About $110 for 2 weeks cover, with unlimited medical thats what we want. ( all the other stuff , matt calls it fluff is not necessary but has what we need. Unlimited medical) If we want high risk cover, if riding scooter we generally with Allianz and take scooter cover. Again everybody needs are different and we don't have any underlying health issues. Check them out and let us know if you find anything worth knowing let us know. Insure & go and allianz are our preferred choice. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback.
For couples, We love Green Garden Hotel Kuta and Arnaya Homestay Kuta and Adys Inn Legian (Queen room) For groups like Baleka Legian and Kuta Beach Club Few others but they are some of our top places on a budget of $40 - $60 AUD Will be a video out around Xmas with our top hotels for 2025, Stay tuned.
Haha i call him my handbrake. Saying that he does a good job managing the finances with the amount of travel we do. But he likes to hold me back lol. Thanks for feedback.
I normally have my meals in Kuta or Tuban, but if in Legian I'll ride to the Legian Food Court. At least I know my money is going to the locals. Where possible, I'll avoid any restaurants owned by Australians. Although if I want to watch AFL, NRL, or MotoGP, sometimes there's no choice but to frequent a foreign-owned bar.
G'day James, We love Legian food court your right on there, Yes while we agree with you what so far we see the Aussie owners do seem to do a good job over there with staff and jobs, (Looking after there staff) Same with sport they do cater for us by having the games on TV which always brings a crowd. Agreed support local families first, which mostly in our videos we love supporting little family warungs. Thanks for feedback, Getting closer till you go now.
We have hit and miss over the years with local coffee, Bec reckons she need to have a shave after drinking local coffee with the increase of hairs put on our chest lol Thanks for feedback.
What I have learned about Bali is you need to buy the seafood or chicken, the other meats may not be what they say they are. Fat Tony's whilst not great to Western standards the beef was beef.
But they all taste like chicken, good point thoughas developing country they will substitute meat parts as meats. Overall we had no issues but definitely not to our standards. Chicken is always good value. We eat alot of pork or chicken. Not so much beef. Fat tonys was good value. Thanks for feedback
