Hi guys very new subscribers here... Me and my partner absolutely love your videos, I've been to bali a couple of times few years ago now but we are both coming for ten nights Sep 2025 for our first anniversary.. We've watched so many in the last few days, would be fantastic if you are about to possibly meet up at one of your favourite places for dinner... Hope that doesn't sound to weird lol it's just we both love watching you and you are obviously seasoned at bali life.. P. Thank you Pete & Becca , We are just a everyday couple who love to travel and love our food and of course as a women love to shop. (Well who doesn't) . As we work full time in Brissy, at the moment we plan to be in Bali Aug 2025 and with limited holidays (bloody work)) , looks like we will just miss you. We have meet a few subs randomly in Bali so far and it's been great. Just hard to catch us due to work/life balance. Need more holidays haha

Santorini the best food in kuta if your not eating Indonesian food, over ordered the first time we went there, looking forward to eating 5here next month. Food is delicious and the prices are really good.😊
So good! We have spoken about where Santorini sit for us, we rank it 3rd on our adventures and rates very highly, Recommend for great food.

Thanks. Will try some of those in couple of weeks when we’re in the area. Been in Bali for 5 weeks so Greek food will be a welcome change. And of course Indian food is good and has with more vegetarian options for those wanting them

Just wondering if you have been to amed as was thinking of visiting there
We have experienced friends who are retired unlike us haha and they know what we are like as travellers and I asked do we go to candidasa or Amed. Candidasa they said, that's why we did the candidasa videos and not Amed.
Hopefully one day get up there between work (real life stuff to pay the bills and limited holidays ) its on the radar when we can make time .
We can't give you a honest opinion on that sorry.
Candidasa loved it. It's away from the tourist strip of kuta,legian and those areas.

Thanks for another excellent video. Have been to both Warung Norman and Ruchira Indian Food - had the same good experience you two enjoyed. Really keen to try Munchies on my next trip.
The best Nasi Goreng I've ever eaten was at Warung Tujuh (located on Jalan Lebak Bene). I had the prawn one - the best five dollars I've ever spent.

You should try the restaurant at the Adi Jaya kuta, the restaurant is on the street opposite the Discovery centre, fantastic food.
We have stayed at Adi Jaya a few times, Do you mean Beras Merah? which is part of adi jaya. If so we tried it before UA-cam channel started. It was nice, but there is alot of options around too.

@@BecMattAdventures I would have added Shintas Warung but you have already been. There was also a great Greek restaurant but I think it's gone with new development along Jalan Kartika plaza near buba gump.
@@riverleigh8 Shinta is a good feed, Yes that place closed down, I know where that was greek place. Santorini is decent.

@@BecMattAdventures Yep Shinta was a secret hideaway but good you showcased them for business, they deserve it. Thats a shame the owner was Greek and had lived in Bali for 40yrs, really good food and service.
I had a decent Pizza at Dolce Vita nearby there, the venue is ok, nothing flash, but the Pizza was good with a crusty base , not sure if it's changed so don't blame me if this one is a bum steer.

Overpriced for Bali would not bother going back
Bali is getting expensive due to tourist happy paying the higher price, Bali is not the old Bali.

These are not Warungs you are going these are tourist restos = fast food garbage, get into to local areas and get some real tasty local food at least 75% of what you are paying and taste real fresh cooked food in front of you.
We have eaten at Local Warungs over the years before we started this channel(local only) but reality is we have taken many people to Bali and they are not game enough to go there. So in these videos we try and show people some tourist local warungs to give them info for them to try them which leads to broaden their choice in food options. We want people to have a positive experience going to Bali and this is a nice entry level to try compared to eating at overpriced upmarket restaurants. (Usually full when we walk past them, Thinking what they are missing out on) Which we try and tell people these are so overrated.
We take your point though and try and find a happy medium for people coming to Bali, So they can have a positive experience.
Stay tuned coming up in 1 of our videos later we eat at a local warung but even explain it's wont be for a lot of people.

@@BecMattAdventuresyes i get your point lot of folk still think they going get posioned eating in local warungs, but nowadays its differant as you will know as its cooked fresh in front of and although the buildings maybe look a bit rough (cough cough) the food is usally very tasty, its the Bintang that causes the bali belly etc, later when i got time i will send you a few good warungs you can try if you have time etc, enjoyed reading your post though keep up the good work.

It's funny though , Very popular in social media, must eat there. For us and seems for you too, Way overrated. But hey it teaches us 1 thing , don't believe everything you hear on social media. I'm sure some people would like it but was very disappointing for us.

Hello, do they take card in these restaurants?
i would say 70% yes and 30% no, So always have some cash on you , From memory if you watch our food videos, A few places were Cash only, Sheppys in Legian, The Lokal in Legian and Warung Norman in Kuta were all cash only but most will take cards.
