Thanks for posting Federich, it is a bit sad watching the game through your eyes. We (WH fans) have been through a lot of pain and suffering too over the years so it was a big day for us. I was at the two FA Cup wins we had in 1975 and 1980 and nothing since, so it has been a "long" wait for us. The bottle throwing during the game wasn't good, so wish you guys all the best.
Thanks a lot! Your perspective and story are so much valuable! I can imagine your joy after such a long wait and of course the unfortunate episode of the bottle throwing has little to nothing to do with the result…I think as Fiorentina fans we were somehow happy that fans like you could finally have their moment ❤️👏👏
I was there with Fred, and in spite of the unfortunate outcome of the game (for us) we've been toasting with WH supporters the whole time. Very cool atmosphere, which is what football should be about. Congrats guys for winning the Cup, leave us the next one though. 😜
Same here. I was also at the 76 ECWC final loss, the 1981 League cup final loss and the 2006 FA Cup final loss. In the end we long suffering West Ham supporters had to exorcise the previous losses. PS the objects being thrown were the plastic beer cups, not bottles. However, the object that had hit Biraghi was a vape. I’m not condoning this but just setting the record straight.

The chanting about Lazio wasn’t to offend Fiorentina fans, it is a song in homage to Paolo DiCanio who used to play for us. Many West Ham supporters have always had an affinity to Lazio as a result. The objects being thrown were the soft plastic beer cups, not bottles, I saw this for myself. The Fiorentina fans were doing the same.
@@federombyI realise that by losing the final you were angry and upset, but I am merely setting the record straight with facts. It has been confirmed that a vape had caused the injury, as thrown by one moronic fan, but the cups were light and harmless. Fiorentina supporters are on film during the match also throwing the cups at our players. Biraghi’s injury looked bad and it was totally unnecessary, but nowhere is it reported that he had suffered 10 stitches, unless you are also his personal physician. Your claims about bottles being thrown and ‘ten stitches’ can’t be taken seriously as you seem prone to exaggeration. I can understand this because you were emotional because of the result. If we are speaking about figures, over 20 Fiorentina supporters were arrested for violence in the City, whereas only three West Ham supporters were arrested, mainly for drunkenness.
