Derek, many thanks. Really nice techniques, well explained. I'll be trying the munter/wraps load-sharing method and the retrievable prusik methods for sure.
Another good one is a clove hitch on a bight around the desired union. Then to connect via a carabiner the tail of you rope to the cross over on the clove hitch. When you want to retrieve it simply unload yr system, & jiggle/pull on your tail to work the clove hitch free. Only extra equipment you is simply a carabiner
Caught most of it, but a little hard too see what you're doing. Maybe zooming into the detail of the knots you are doing would be helpful. Thanks for taking the time to show us your tips and tricks, I think it keeps us all safe learning from each other.
