@@CJColvin I've noticed that of the half a dozen or so videos on this channel that I've watched, the thumbnails have cars that aren't featured in the videos. They have a Tempo video with an Escort in the thumbnail. Makes no sense to me... 🇺🇸
I miss my -67 LTD with the 428... Here in Finland, 40 years ago, it was a rare car for a young man. My pride and joy. Took all my money, but it was worth it.
Pretty advanced having that extra information module down there for locking the doors, seat belts all that stuff that looks like Lincoln Continental kind of stuff for a regular Ford pretty cool way advanced for the time!
I was a kid when these cars were out. My uncle was some muckaty muck for Hertz. When he visited I saw these cars in many colors . My dad had his new Buick Riviera GS traded every 2/3 years so I thought we had old car compared to my Uncle.
The 1st guy on this video I know him from getting his butt kicked from making fun of another actor in his comedy routine. Carson did the same also, but, was able to talk his butt out of that beating. The actor who was the target of jokes was Wayne Newton. Stevenson, & Carson ceased ASAP from making those jokes.
For looks, best Ford lineup, hands down. In specific, having owned 2 '67 Mustangs, I prefer that year to the '68s because it didn't have the side markers, the (subjectively) ugly wood interior, and that chunky steering wheel. A slow march toward more governmental control.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. Called Bundesabgasbespaßungsverordnung in German.... :-( /(&&&
67 was a great year for Ford design. Along with 68, I think it was the prettiest.
I like the 1968 Ford to but I thought the 1967 was more beautiful
@@jameshuseby6290 yeah, I think I prefer the stacked headlights of 67.
Cars were were sure awesome back then! Awesome as hell!
Wow, they sure don’t make them like they used to!!!
And that is a good thing!!
Loved seeing this. I had a 67 Fairlane GT. I sold it to a guy in Australia about 10 years ago. Just a beautiful car! Wish I still had it.
That 67 Fairlane looks beautiful. That 67 Galaxie looks beautiful as well.
Where did you see a 67 Fairlane other than in the thumbnail?
🇺🇸
@@DoyleFM Not any where else I guess.

@@DoyleFM I totally get what you're saying brother.
Shown during The Fugitive and The FBI. Ford Motor Company provided the vehicles and the sponsor and corporate tie-in.

Back in the days when cars and trucks actually had class and character. Most vehicles today are shaped like jellybeans, lol!
Thanks for posting.
Enjoyed the memories.
Luv old commercials
I did not know Henry Blake sold Ford's.
I had a 68 galaxie convertible it was a cool original bright green color...
I really miss that car.
McClean Stevenson!

Here's a neat idea: Try actually featuring the model depicted in the the thumbnail in the actual video.
