    Awesome review man! And I like the fact that you're not trying hard just to do some english review with awkward grammar lapses and pronunciations. At the same time, it would be so awesome if cf moto could release an expressway legal version of 300sr. My next bike indeed!

    I was under the impression that Bosch was responsible for the eFi System of the bike and that the ABS Brakes are made by Continental.

    • @pfb85

      My mistake, you are completely right, its Bosch EFI upon checking more closely! For the bluetooth I think it’s more for answering calls but will test it and see what the options are. Navigation wise I dont think it’s an option but will connect and see what can be done.

    Hi Sir, would you recommend this to first time drivers? Possible usage is for daily rides to work to BGC manila during rush hours with heavy traffic.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +2

      If you are looking for a sportsbike to use for daily commute this would pretty much be your best option.
      But for naked bikes there are a lot of options as well.
      Ideal for daily commutes are scooters but again, the 300SR works fine for a Manila-BGC commute.
      If you are a first time rider you might find riding manual transmission tiring at first. In terms of size and power a first time rider can manage the 300SR

    Can you compare ktm rc 200 and cfmoto 300sr. Which one is good to buy?
    Or bajaj dominar 400.
    Thank you.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +5

      I have ridden both but don't own a RC200.
      But here is some input:
      1. Features - 300SR much better, most importantly has ABS (I think safety features matters a lot). Strange thing about the 2020 KTM RC200 is that it does not come with ABS, at least according to staff at KTM BGC. The 2020 KTM Duke 200 has ABS, so find it strange that the RC200 does not.
      Both CFMoto and KTM use the same design company (does not mean the engineering is the same though) and CFMoto is going to create a production line for KTM bikes so there is collaboration ongoing.
      Other features such as riding modes and TFT dash is more a "nice-to-have" rather than a must-have so it depends on you if this matters.
      Reputation/Durability:
      KTM is a lot more established worldwide and in the Philippines so no doubt about the engineering/technology and quality of KTM.
      CFMoto has had a good start but only time will tell if the durability will be at the same level.
      KTM also had service centers across the PH, CFMoto is restricted to Metro Manila.
      The bottom line is if you can live with the non-abs part and value more the reputation/heritage of KTM it's a good option. Especially if you live far from Metro Manila the RC200 might be a better option.
      If you really value ABS and other features of 300SR and live within Metro Manila I think this is a better overall package.
      In a few months I will sell the 300SR to fund another bike to review, hopefully someone wants to trade to a 2020 RC200 so I can do a comparison video :-)
      For the Dominar 400 it's a good value bike as well, unless you can get 400cc on the CR making it expressway legal I think there are better bikes.
      Despite it being 370CC it's rather heavy so the power-to-weight ratio isn't really much better than the smaller displacement motorcycles such as the 300SR, Zontes 310 etc..
      Have not ridden it though so might change my mind if I get the chance.

    How’s the torque compare to lets say duke or rc200? Been planning to buy this but whats keeping me off is the reliabilty. Im all for performance and my 1st choice talaga is the r3. But price difference is almost 100k 😂

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +1

      If you compare it relative to displacement (300cc vs 200cc vs 155cc) both the RC and R15 is stronger. But if straight up it’s at a similar level but once you are in higher revs at 2nd, 3rd and so on the 300SR feels faster for sure. I am a heavy rider so really can feel the difference.
      The R3 is on a different level having 2 cylinders and as you mentioned 100k more 🙂.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! I do recommend this motorcycle as a good option for you:
      1. Power: it has good power but not something overwhelming for a beginner.
      2. Weight: it is not the lightest among the entry level sportsbike class (it is 300cc though compared to 150-200cc alternatives). Having said that, it is not a heavy bike and perfectly fine.
      3. Position: is more upright compared to it’s alternatives, except for the suzuki gixxer sf250 which also is quite upright. This means a more relaxed riding position suited for beginners and/or longer rides.
      Seat height: at 780mm it’s among the lowest so a good fit for someone with your height!
      Are you considering any other options? 🙂

      As for your question, I'm considering the Zontes r300, KTM 390 duke, BMW g310r, Kawasaki z300, Yamaha MT 03 and the Honda Cb 500f
      There is also the gsx r 250, but I feel like this one is too expensive for what it has to offer.
      In terms of esthetics I prefer sports bikes, but naked ones are cheaper. The gsx r 250 and cfmoto 300sr are the only sport bikes that I've seen with a reasonable price.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +1

      Wow, very varied options. So your budget ranges up to 400k (cb 500F)? That gives you so many options.

    • @pfb85
      @pfb85  3 роки тому +1

      Only thing discovered is that bluetooth part is useless. You can connect but nothing happens or displays if you get a call. No proper answer from CFMoto, only that the bluetooth can't be used yet. But weird to advertise this part if not ready to be used.
      Besides that, very happy with bike!

      Rez Rein Janolino, understand the dilemma. I did a comparison between the two: ua-cam.com/video/m0hdXuPLW9w/v-deo.html
      Only specs and feature comparision as I have not had the pleasure of riding a SF250.
