@@louieandrewdulay959 nope, actually same lng acceleration ni N4 at RC390. Ang mapping ng N4 is designed to give more torque sa low rev range. Check out yung mga drag races nila and see.
I was basing on feedback from the Pirelli Cup racers I've met at the track. But I guess my example isn't that good anyway since the RC has less displacement. It's common wisdom though that single cylinder designs allow for more torque down low but don't rev as high as twins or 4 cylinders. But in the end, I am sure CFMoto stuck with a single to keep costs down. What I'd rather see is a 650SR with a souped up NK650 engine.

A slipper clutch is welcomed by those into track riding as it allows aggressive deceleration without the wheel losing traction and it ensures the gearbox is not damaged while shifting a few gears at a time.

The speedometer of this bike has only 4-5 kph error. While most japanese bikes has 9-12 kph error. And some have even 20 plus kph error. So you did 155 kph and that would be 160 or more on other bikes speedometer.
Exactly! if that was a R3/MT03 at 155km/h on gps their the speedometer would show 172km/h as they have 17km/h error!!! I do own a Kawasaki Z400 and I notice a 6/7km/h error from speedometer to gps which is pretty good. But this speedo on the Cfmoto 300 is really precise at 5km/h error. That's very nice and good to know. Ride safe fella.
Actually, the speedometer error is a common issue when bike tires wear off due to its longevity uses. (Long explanation.) but manufacturers sometimes deliberately do these “errors” to keep motorcyclists from going too fast (another long explanation.) you can also see these speedometer errors on cars too! Just a basic way of keeping you slowed down and be safe on the road...
No doubt about Chinas manufacturing prowess and efficiency in producing things in large numbers cheaply. But how about built quality and and over all reliability. There lies the problem. That is the big elephant in the room.. I think it would be wiser to buy a more time tested bike. Sure it may very well be more expensive but its more practical and cheaper down the road.. Nice review though..

China needs to go away from the “throw away” manufacturing attitude. You buy a bike like this and 5 years later not one part will be available as it’s replacement will be a completely different bike, not just a evolution. I’m currently playing around with old CRF 80s and 100s. I can use some of the parts from a 1978 Honda XR80 to repair a 2008 CRF 80/100! Try doing this type of thing from China built ANYTHING

Upgrade your r15 v3 to super stocks.. 160cc injector, juken 5, full sytem exhaust and cams for r3 if you want to change your stock cams.

Today I checked out this bike, also 300NK. Couldn't ride. But I feel it's a good & worth price in Vietnam. Only worry is resale value.

And the torque delivery of a single thumper is really good. If you compare the RC390 to the Ninja 400, you can see the difference in acceleration.

Most of china bikes are durable af, they only suck at screwing shit on the bike and the wires. Overall they're reliable
