YAY!!!!! This series should continue, they are a lot of factors, tips and techniques you could tell us jack, like for instance in terms of coordination between the bass, guitar and keys, vocals, etc. Like in a band or so, you could do with keys and bass, drums and keys only, etc. a lot of combinations out there. Cheers mate!.
I found this today (video is 2 years old) Anyway, this is golden. Trying to teach my daughter piano while me playing the guitar and this has been most helpful. Don't know if you have a similar video of how keyboards and bass collide. I remember my band playing days when our bass player hated the keyboardist because everyone could hear the bass notes colliding horribly (our keyboard was classically trained and was used to play by himself.
More from jack and bingerz please!!! Jack piss funny as always, bingerz backing him up with some class playing. Best two characters on Andertons tv at the moment.
I've come back to this video 2 years later, following catching "making chords emotional" video yesterday. you guys... Keep on keeping on - the though process is SO helpful, fascinating. It explains to me stuff I do automatically - but challenges me to realise whilst I do that, there are other options. so so good.
14:52 Thinking of it like an additional Gm7 --> C7 --> Fmajor (leaving out the C7 here). It's very common in J-Pop music as well. They love 2-5-1progressions...
These tips and lessons are so great! Thanks so much for doing videos like these. Your more traditional gear reviews are of course really good as well, and I have bought some of the gear you demo based on your recommendations. But I love that you mix it up and make practical videos on the basics of playing and performing.
This was an awesome video! Thank you!! It would be cool to expand on this idea with splits or layers on keyboards. For example if he had a split on his right hand for another sound and how that would work into some lead playing
Love these videos, thanks a lot for making them! How do you know who will play the bass tone? You talked about when in the piano you leave space so the guitar can play the higher tones and viceversa, and I saw you both play the bass tones together and it does sound good, so, you don't need to worry about that? You should make a video about playing with a bassist, that would be awesome
This is fantastic. I see this kind of supportive interaction between musicians all the time, but the way you two explained & demonstrated really makes sense. Thanks for this. Please continue!
you are both so limited because you both use numbers..chords hell who cares what you disect it at! ! No offence..I write music I don,t know a note? "UA-cam "MDE Sound of cities"..I did not need this ..hmmmobviousness? thanks guys though! ps it was interesting though....
I was moved by your singing, Jack. From my seat, to the other room.
😂😂😂
Thanks for the laugh
😆

That is insensitive, but very funny
I play for my church and we've got keys, acousitc guitar, drum kit, a djembe, and vocals. I'm on keys and this helps man, I appriciate it.

More gold from Jack and the crew! Basically, good musicians listen to each other and play together, not as individuals.
