That was a long time ago. I was misinformed. Since then I’ve done my own research and really enjoy/trust ledger: ua-cam.com/video/gQB0by9NDh8/v-deo.htmlsi=_SxrIpIbjiiDG_Ri
@@cyberscrillaGood on you for having the integrity to admit when you are wrong! Kind of off topic, but what do you think of Stop Murad? Worth listening to or is he going to make alot of people lose money?
I don't see a point in the Stax, the price is so much higher and what more are you getting...very little. I just bought a Nano S Plus and am waiting for delivery (2 week delay on shipping currently). Been using coinbase for years but I feel I have more crypto than is reasonable to keep in an exchange at this point.
When you imput your seed phrase into a new cold wallet device, what happens to the old device that originally had the seed phrase in it? Does it automatically get reset?
Nothing happens to it. You’ll have two devices with the same seed phrase. If you don’t want that, simply factory reset your old wallet. This will allow you to import an existing seed phrase or create a new one
Can you please explain what you mean about the scam involving hooking a ledger wallet to a scam website. I am new and will have my ledger in a few weeks and I have heard of this but don't understand what it means really. Feel like if you made video about well known crypto scams it would do well and be extremely helpful to noobs like me. Thanks for the video.
Just Google for : crypto scam types. There is also NFT scam. Scammers would send you a NFT and ask you to visit their website for giveaway. Simply don't visit the website. Then you're safe. I recently had it. At first I was confused but this happens because your receiving address is publicly accessible. So the scammers would send you garbage and try to lure you to visit their website.
Thanks for all the helpful information. I have a question for you, can you run Ledger Live in both desktop or mobile mode with the same Flex wallet? Thanks again.

@@Somebody2687 That’s why I say just get the Flex if you want a larger screen/more options
Bought the flex thanks to this analysis.
@@Mr0PT1C awesome!
Quick question how long would the battery last until it’s fried /dead . I’m just not sure about switching over to a cold wallet with a battery.

Does using your ledger as passkey increase the risk of your device being hacked ?
No
To transfer from an old ledger nano s, to a ledger nano s plus. Do you just pit the seed phrase in the new nano s plus? Or another step?
Wouldn’t it be safer to just start a new wallet in the new ledger and just send from the old wallet… just in case the old wallet was compromised 🤷🏽♀️
You can if you believe your current seed phrase is safe.
Only if you have reason to believe your current seed is compromised

Whilst making an XRP transaction from Uphold, using ledger nano x, received my xrp and an address poison 😠
