Imo All nightmare long hits different. Intro is great, the mood of the song is also great. The vocals are superior. It’s so sad that Death magnetic got almost no attention beacuse of the poor production and mix. For me this album just slaps like Davie504 slaps his Bass.

One of the reasons that Disposable Heroes is so underrated in my humble opinion is because it was one of the most badass live performances, especially in the Jason Newsted-era. I was always afraid he was gonna pop a brain artery when singing BACK TO THE FRONT!
Most songs from the "newer" albums get no attention like Prince Charming from ReLoad or All Nightmare Long from Death Magnetic but your list is great like Of Wolf And Man is a banger and Escape has the heaviest riff from Ride The Lightning ngl

Disposable heroes is like Metallica top 20 in any list can’t be underrated, I love escape and the god that failed is one of my favourite. I think other great songs are more underrated like : my friend of misery, hit the light, unforgiven 2 , mama said, and basically many load and reload.

Motorbreath is also after Seek and Destroy and Four Horsemen the most popular kea track. Anyways, I agree with everything but Escape. I just can’t get into it and for me feels out of place in the album.
Disposable Heros is definitely criminally underrated, but (in my opinion) I really hate Escape. I just don't feel like it fits on RTL, and I would swap it out with Eye Of The Beholder off of AJFA
aside from escape, I don't think any of these are underrated, you gotta think back in the day people would listen to every song on the album so for most metallic fans these songs would all be beloved, not underappreciated, but I agree these all crush (aside from escape)
