One of the reasons that Disposable Heroes is so underrated in my humble opinion is because it was one of the most badass live performances, especially in the Jason Newsted-era. I was always afraid he was gonna pop a brain artery when singing BACK TO THE FRONT!

Disposable heroes is like Metallica top 20 in any list can’t be underrated, I love escape and the god that failed is one of my favourite. I think other great songs are more underrated like : my friend of misery, hit the light, unforgiven 2 , mama said, and basically many load and reload.

I’ve been saying that “The God That Failed” was one of my favorite songs on that album for years and I always get looks of confusion. I think that song has the misfortune of being a good song, in an album of great songs. It’s one of my all time favorites from Metallica.

Tbh, I think many none „I only know 4 songs“ fans really like disposable heroes. Same for Escape, it’s getting much love recently, if you look at different rankings. Motorbreath is also after Seek and Destroy and Four Horsemen the most popular kea track. Anyways, I agree with everything but Escape. I just can’t get into it and for me feels out of place in the album.

i honestly think that leper messiah should be in here aswell its kinda underrated aswell(just my opinion)

Disposable Heros is definitely criminally underrated, but (in my opinion) I really hate Escape. I just don't feel like it fits on RTL, and I would swap it out with Eye Of The Beholder off of AJFA

Disposable heroes is not underrated (I know it's your opinion but hear my counterargument)I've seen a lot of master of puppets song rankings and in every fucking video, I see people putting disposable on number one, along with them saying that it's underrated, but if so many people call something underrated and that it's the best song of arguably their best album, it's not underrated anymore, hell, it's now even going to the point where it's getting overrated (IMO) that's my view of it, but you can think whatever you want :)
