🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I am in this phase of my life now and I'm almost 42 🥺 🤦🏽♀️ I just started therapy. This is something I should have done as a 8 yr old.
I feel so honored that you chose to share such personal & moving things about yourself with this community - & my hope is that you will get NO negative backlash for this! I continue to struggle with the whole concept of forgiveness, so anything you have about that would be very helpful.
Ms. Rashawnda, I’m so happy that you’ve decided to share your story. I appreciate that. It makes me feel connected to you- through UA-cam😉😉😉. I’ll continue to support you the way you’ve supported me through these videos. Salute queen 👑!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey, I recently started my healing journey for the past year and this gives me so much hope and inspiration. I still struggle with setting boundaries and saying no as well, that's definitely something I want to get better at
Yasss girl yass!! Thank you for sharing. The childhood trauma , daily stress, anxiety have caused us all to need to talk and express our self!! I’m new here and I love your channel !
Rashawnda, thank you for sharing. I have missed your videos a lot. I found this really helpful because I'm a psychology undergraduate student who also happens to be going through some messy and difficult family situations
I love this type of video! I need more of this you talking about the issue with your mom is helping me but I have got to figure out when and where to set boundaries or if to just walk away for my own mental health
Love this, Queen. 🥰 Thank you so much for sharing and allowing us in. I think its so important for people to know that we as therapist, even have our own journey to healing. Wish you well! LOVE YOUR CONTENT! ❤
Hell'z yeah I hear you. Thanks for sharing. It validates that there can be authentic reasons I don't feel super awesome about some people. It's okay to not love everyone, and I do practise forgiveness. It's about finding balance, not building giant walls but still having a safe fence. That may not have been your intended message but that's what it made me think of. Thank you sis
Thanks for sharing your story and also thanks for believing in me, forgiveness is the best remedy with people who may or may not like you. I sometimes say to myself Rashawnda believes in me so i can help myself get through the day.
Watching your video comforted me in some way.. like i have had depression and anxiety like sometimes even now they come back like i felt like i was not normal at all...i couldnt do normal things too, it was hard.. but still the way you shared your story made me feel ITS OK... thats a very big thing! THANK YOU💗 Now i am again in the process of self love and healing!💕 Your soo gorgeous!!
Rashawnda you are such a gift! And your voice is soooo soothing. All my triggers just kept settling down as you spoke 😅. I really thank God for you and I'm super glad you got support and your Mum got help. QUESTION If you don't mind sharing 1. How to graciously communicate your boundaries. 2. How to handle those you can't necessarily have boundary conversations with because it would just be a mess, trigger and waste of time. 3. Could you share on how to deal with the friction and guilt of having boundaries that some people once close to you catch feelings about. 4. How to unapologetically stand by your boundaries and peacefully walk away from anyone who simply doesn't understand.
Hey Rashawnda ♥️ very new subscriber here. I just wanted to share that I love the content you’re making and I really appreciate your authenticity. It’s a very special thing when you can help others feel relatable in sharing personal experiences - so thank you for this video in particular. You inspire me to look into a career as a therapist ☺️. Sending love!
After 17 years with my best friend my dog Parker his legs gave out from a stroke so I had to take him to the vet to sleep to end his suffering happy he is not in pain anymore and running around waiting for more kisses when I meet him again
I’m so grateful to have come across your channel. I love to learn from black women, and I especially love this type of content that centers around loving yourself and healing. Thank you so much for creating content like this 🤍 In your video you mentioned how you had an unhealthy relationship with your mom, I do too. I am in therapy now for all the trauma I experienced. I’m realizing that I don’t desire a relationship with my mother, nor her time and attention. I really don’t want to dump on you at all, I just want to ask if you have any advice on dealing with unhealthy mother daughter relationships? How did you regain the courage to fix your relationship with your mom?
Thank you for sharing your story. I've been doing therapy about 5yrs and learned a lot. But, when do you think therapy ends up being a crutch vs a helpful aid?
Great question. Of course this is just my opinion. Therapy can be a crutch if you are not working on applying things you learned from therapy, only processing things with your therapist without trying on your own, and building your support network. Of course, there are other factors, but I hope this is helpful.

QUESTION
If you don't mind sharing
Thanks you! Yes, it as hard but fruitful work with my mom and I.
