To add to this list (very well presented), think about it this way. You have 2 years to stay back.. with finishing the course etc. it's going to be 1-2 months gone at the start of the 2 year post study work visa. Then you have to look for a job where the employer is willing to sponsor you and to be honest, you have just about a year to do that.. since after that 14 months or so, you will be under pressure due to the prospects of returning to India. I am not discouraging anyone here, but getting a sponsorship and then an ILR is very difficult in the UK. Please check the the requirements of the jobs you wish to apply after the course on UK jobs websites (like indeed/linkedin/jobs) before applying for a certain degree and see if your syllabus include these subjects. Also check if the course has enough potential to get you an internship at a reputed company so you have better chances of getting sponsored at the end of your course. Again, please do proper homework before you spend the money 'to do a course' in the UK/

It is a similar situation in Canada. I would not say PR is as hard as UK, but if you are not top quality. It is hard to crack a good job. If you want to still go abroad I would say Canada is a better option. I am a Canadian PR myself, somewhat I do know the struggle.

I am in Australia since few years.. struggle here too.. but one good thing is that Canada and Australia have direct PR pathways unlike UK where you need to wait for 5 years on a sponsorship work visa until you are eligible…

Yes, I myself got PR through express entry. The agencies have become very unethical. They take your money whatsoever and tell you that you have a good chance to get pr or make you a student. Students have an uphill battle of 5 years minimum or say more to have any hope of getting their PR.

All those people who trying to come uk do a thorough research. Do not believe what the educational consultants say. Uk is going to deep recession and they need money from whatever means. Recession is 10% and the interest rates are increasing. Having said that, lots of students got visas in care homes, chefs, etc.

Many Russell group Universities have start up companies developed from their departments. These helps you to get into them easily. This is mainly applicable for STEM people. If you are a knowledge able person and lucky. There are high chances for a job opportunity. So always try to mail the mentor or class teacher before joining. Ask them to give the details of previous students who got job after doing the course. Then follow those people and meet them through mail or teams. Gather idea then decide. Some low ranking universities in Russell group like University of Southampton has better department in areas like photonics, nursing, sound engineering than even Oxford and Cambridge.
The place where you study is also important. The amount of struggle that I took to get a job in my field was very high. Doing part time and learning at Russell group University is tougher. But it is now paying off. Still I haven’t finished my studies. Need to work harder in my current job to prove them to get it in tier 2.
But I truly believe in god and now Iam enjoying is his grace.

@@razi7347 it's better you get some experience in India and then come to uk for masters. I have total 9 years of working experience in India. Then I came here for masters. Still I m struggling to get a job in DS field. You can now guess abt freshers situation. UK employers always prefer people with experience. If you are lucky enough you may get some internship jobs here after MS (without experience). But better come to UK with min 3 years experience in the field (DS)

You are mostly likely to be successful if you have 5+ years of experience and you are coming to UK to upskill taking a career break. The chances of you getting placed are really high. There are lot of companies who will sponsor you visa if you are really talented and experienced. If you are freshman then look at UK for gaining experience and knowledge only....

This is reality. As an international student I’ve now seen it all. Most of the students just wanted to come here taking any course. 80 percent of students take care as part time. It’s not a bad job but many of them already changed to care visa without completing the course. So students who are basically so young destroy their career by opting a different background job like care assistant to make money and get settled here after their parents spend so much money.
The only thing they might think is to some how earn money.
And as he said management courses have the last chance to get a tier 2 visa job. Being a management student I understand that it is the reality.

UK is not extremely beneficial even from a remuneration perspective. Incredibly high taxes, and the pay, taking into account inflation, is not ideal.

The best way for bcom graduates to migrate to uk or Australia is to go for ACCA or CMA US from India and have relavant experience(acca member) or complete PER...These are globally recognised courses ,with their boards having MOU with diffrent proffesional bodies accross the world...after ur qualification you can get jobs in big4's like deilote ,KPMG, EY etc.
If u go for ACCA after bcom u I'll get 6 papers exemption ( 4basics +2 skill papers)out of 13 papers ...so if aiming to get to finance profession in a reputed way and also need to open up chances for migration abroad..do get to ACCA UK, CPA Us ,CMA US...

Graduated Civil engineering in 2011. Worked as Scheduler/Planner for almost 7 years. Right now Doing Masters in Project Planning and Management(Sept 2021 intake)….Started applying for jobs…..Receiving nothing but rejection mails…. Just hoping for the best.

If you get rejection also ask them for feedback and suggestions, that would help you to improve future applications as well!

MBA കുറച്ചു കൂടെ practical oriented ആയിരിക്കും MSc more of Academic inclined…So choose depending on course content that you are interested in . പഠിക്കാൻ എളുപ്പം MBA ആയിരിക്കും
Try to study skills which are tough, so that competition would be less. If something is simple gradually lots of students will gain that skillset. If you are from IT background go for AI, ML, Bigdata, BI, cloud computing Cyber Security.. these are even recession proof tech. All the best.

I work as a software developer and I got Tier 2 for 5 years. Didn't have to pay a penny. But I did have more than 7 years of experience as a Software Developer. UI/UX devs have good chance. An option to do research is to search ur expected designation in Linked In and cross match the companies with the Tier 2 licence list from uk gov website.

Hi, if you have prior experience in data science in india, you will get a job after completing masters ( it's not easy. You might need to apply for more than 100 jobs , but eventually you will get).
If you don't have prior experience in the field, then it will be difficult. If you lucky enough you may get internship or graduate level jobs.
If your programming skills are good enough and you have experience in that field, then you can apply for developer jobs. It has more scope.
(It's based on my experience as I completed my masters in data science in uk)
If you have experience in software development for technologies like Microsoft technologies or Java stack, you will get several interview calls here . Some of the companies provide visa sponsorship after 6 months. So don’t worry if you have more than 3 year of experience in this field

Hi, you can get admission for MSW, but now the universities are stricter. It would be good to show some experience before you apply for MSW.
Regarding the course, it's not that simple. You have to study and concentrate well on this course. The most important thing is that there is placement during the course, and you have to do full-time placement without payment. During that time, you would be able to work only on weekends, which is quite tough. So think about all aspects before you choose and please don't believe the wrong information like you can pay the full fees on your own. There is no way you can do that if you are doing MSW.

The risk is too much in this course bro. There is no guarantee that you will get a right after this course. Also, you can work only for 20 hours a week. Either try to study something in the medical field or finish your UG in Kerala and do just your PG here which is one year course with 2 years stay back.
