10:47 'AMMERRRREDD!! 😂 What a ripper little sixpence, I'd be absolutely chuffed finding that. I'd also be happy being stuck out in a field like that right now. Maybe I need to head over there in 2023... 🤔 Cheers mate.
Gday Mish. It was a great 6d. I’m back out to my old haunts now. And chasing a bit of yellow. Lots of water. I see you are up now. Will watch soon. Take care mate 😁👍
Hi im new to metal detecting and have watched nearly all your videos they are great, love seeing all the old items and I like your commentary well done
Wow my friend. Some bucketlisters coming up there. I am still waiting for a bull head of any kind. Incredible. And very well deserved. Squirrel pie anyone?
Haha. Got to catch the little buggers first. They are quick. Was a great little permission. They have more for us if I go back there. Take care mate 😁👍
Gday Mick. Too late. Am already back and at work. Happy that the first coin I got was a 1910 Aussie shilling. Can still sniff the silver but it is great to be back. Take care mate 😁👍
In this case, I'm going to call him "Gorgeous George"... what a stunning coin! Loved the two Vicky's with such beautiful patina and details, as well as the various relics. I thought maybe the ring could be a sort of guide for the reins of the harness (to guide the reins back from the bit and over the horse's back to the driver?) Loving the adventure Andrew and thank you for sharing! And............ a lot of "I wish" going on over here!
Gday Deb. That was a good coin. Left it and a lot of the other things there with the landowners. Very lucky to get the permission. They have others for me if we go back. The Vicky’s were beautiful too. Hope you are well. Take care mate 😁👍
Gday Tim. Very unusual broach that one. I did get quite a few buckles. Brought the knee one home. Always great to find a silver. That one was in good nick. Hope you are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
That Bull head sixpence is a bloody ripper!! You must have had excess baggage on the flight home with all the finds from your trip hahaha. Love it! Thanks for sharing 😁👍🥳⛏
Gday fellas. The bag was heavier on the trip back. Lead doesn’t help to keep your bag light. The 6d was great to find and in good nick but I left it with the land owners as I already have some. If we go back there they have already organized 3 new permissions for us. How cool. Take care fellas 😁👍
Another nice video from your UK adventure Andrew.A nice selection of interesting items from that paddock.Coins were in nice condition and that Bullhead Sixpence is a beauty.I remember digging an 1861 farthing in the UK,so it seems a very popular year.Cheers mate.
Gday Gary. It looks that way with 1861. Must get on the net and see how many they did mint. Glad I got the six pence. Good nick too. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 😁👍
Another cracking hunt Andrew on a really nice old permission with some exciting finds on your way round, ain't found a silver bullhead sixpence like your for a long time but looking forward to the next. Take care and all the best mate, cheers 👌👍😀👋 Tony
Gday Tony. It was a great permission and a great coin. Will occasionally get one down here. Lots of history in the ground over your way. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Fantastic Andrew.. Oh it looks like you should be in a scene from The Detectorists 🤭😃 You need to sit down under one of those big trees and have a cuppa
Gday Lee. Peteeeoorr and I were doing that before the Detectorist came out. A smoko tree, rock or stump. Pete was always amazed at how I could find such comfortable spots to sit. It was great. Take care mate 😁👍
Gday Ant. Most of the UA-cam folk I follow in the UK will say” extra point awarded for shankage” when they get a button that has one on. Take care mate 😁👍
Great hunt Andrew. Well done on the George III bull head. they are great coins and my favourite monarch to find. I'm just outside of Shropshire..... to the south. if you're ever in herefordshire while you are still here, let me know 👍
Gday Jason. We are home now. Got back 2 Fridays ago. There are a good coin to find. Most of our KG3 are fairly worn down here but you do get the odd good one. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
I was just thinking you must be starting to develop an english accent by now, but the oz vernacular broke through when you found that nice sixpence. Must be nice getting a whole range of new relics like that 1700s knee buckle, which as you said, reflects a lot of history. Enjoy your travels. Warren.
Gday Warren. We have been home for a week and I’m back at work. Being over there gave me an opportunity to refine my English accents. Gee there are a lot. There is massive history there. Had the two fields that only seemed to go back to Georgean times and others that went back further. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
you be good making igloos, did you see Ironbridge(same county), yes a good mixture bun pennies and the silver coin were good finds(conditions), quite a setting !
Gday Dean. No we didn’t get there but went to other places. Just ran out of time. Very happy with the selection I got. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Well done mate looks like you two are still having fun, you better get some hay fever tablets for home mate as it is ramping up for a big hay fever season.
Great video Andrew, love the condition on the Vicky mate beautiful find, the sixpence is a cracker, try finding two 1861 penny’s in one hunt again lol 😂
Ha. You never know your luck in this game Jim. I might find another couple of the same date up here. They were in great condition and lovely patina. Hope you are well mate 😁👍
G'day Andrew! tried to comment yesty, your lucky, wifi dropped out just as I tried to send it, it was long, so short version, the matching pennys were beauties but ive never seen black patina before or was it very dark green! nice buckle too. Very nice sixpence 204 years old, magic! question time! did you have to show any finds to a finds liaison, if thats the proper term, and what are your oldest coins you have found from both Australia and England, Cheers CBK!
Gday Wayne. No I didn’t have to show anything from there. Put one coin in from Detectorvil and it turned out to be a Richard 3 penny. Oldest coin in England was that Roman I got at 140AD and at home I have a token at 1794 or Chinese coins at 1662. We are back home now. Take care mate 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid ahh...was just gonna say, I've got one of those!!! Welcome home mate, and I'm sure I speak on behalf of all Aussie detectorists when I say how jealous I was of you over there 😂😂 looked like an amazing few weeks of swinging 👍👍
