Sir this is the best way to show how to utilise a surface command. Yesterday we had a lesson in the class al goes over Head but after watching your video I am sure that it is so good to learn about it. 👏👏🙏🙏🙌🙌
An amazing training involving surface resources! I could not do "thicken" in the top cover, although could see previous: when confirmed, nothing occurred - thicken remains the same without any thickness (only profile). Another small bug occurred in the "fillet" command: when applied in the top part, failed. Despite that, I learned a lot of surfaces, and the tank was finished quite well! Thanks!
Hello, first of all, I love your videos, thank you for sharing your knowledge, I´m sorry to tell that this time I was not able to follow every step, I noticed that in min 5:15 there is a simple edition in the video that lead into a visible sketch 3 and the following operation became "surface-trim 3", I can´t tell why is that because there is no surface-trim 2 before that, at the end, I couldn´t apply fillets neither get thickness into the object, I use SW 2015, I don´t know if that is part of the problem, I hope you or someone can explain or relate to that, thanks for the read
Ese banane se job nahi milegi..it is just for practice 😅... industry me Kam aate hai yeh tools so you have to be aware about the tools of the software that you are using in the company...bas isiliye yeh tutorials haai ... practice it so your command on the software will improve and it will sharpen your imagination in designing...
Question is not less step or more, its LEARNING & TEACHING EXERCISE. Good or bad product but gentleman teaching skills are good and students need to take it further with learnt skills. They might do it better and faster after learning from this channel. Students cannot learn from Expert "Rajput Naveen" properly right from the beginning so please launch your "Advance Level CAD" channel!
Rajput. I find your statement false. The reason I find it false is I have gone to your channel and you have no CAD videos posted at all. Also if you could do this with less steps you would have and posted to prove your abilities. One should not degrade another's work if you can not do better. Cheap shot on your part. If you would like to prove me wrong then post something on your channel proving you have the skills of which you boast. I am monitoring your channel to see what CAD skills you possess.
You are correct, but so is he--but not so polite. This can be done 6 steps using solids (just tried myself), however, this is a surface exercise. :o) It is up to the engineer or designer to choose the best method (or mix) for each design. To me, having nearly 5x as many steps modelled as surfaces means it's not the best choice but again this is teaching surface tools, not a speed run. I wish there were lessons explaining when surface tools are better not just used to solve a few issues in solid modelling.

Thanks! wonderful SOLIDWORKS instructing videos! 😎
Many thanks for your detail explanation.

That text you project on the body.....is it split throughout the body?
you could make it into one face by palcing the plane in the centre of the tank, and check the single direction option from split line.
Nice work
Sir kindly provide also 2D drowing of model for excercise
Good
Thank you.
Thankyou
amazing
Sira

Hi sir, it gives me an error when i try thicken( unable to create) why??
check kint option carefully
Amazing
Plz urdo ma btya krain
Too many operations, u are making it too much complex. I could design this in probably in 5 operations, including the fillets.
Bet you cant, lol

I WOULD HAVE MADE A REVOLVED BOSS BASE, THEN EXTUDED BOSS FOR THE TOP. SHELL COMMAND, FILLET.
SORRY. FILLET THEN SHELL.
