Haha, my first ever time playing D&D, 1982, our DM started us in Village of Hommlet, then we played the Slavers series (A1,2,3), then the GDQ modules. Good times. Some people might believe that the drow and underdark are purely a Forgotten Realms thing, but nope, Gygax came up with it in the 1970s for Greyhawk.
Yeah, the G3 and D-Series Mods were meant to be the big reveal of the Drow. Darkvision was called Infravision, etc. Funny, I created my own Dungeons for my Players. Whereas my brother put us thru T1 and the A-Series.
Solid entry. I like the idea of the market that replaces the inexplicable monster condo with something that could add to the greater story of the D series. It would be a great place to drop hints and lore to prepare the PCs for the sandbox that follows.
Thanks, good to know that my "Market" idea in the middle of the D1 Caverns was not crazy. I was afraid that the madness of the Kuo-Toa was starting to affect me... :-P
This is by far the best walkthrough of this module I’ve found and exactly what I need. But omg dude, that effect on your voice is so unnecessary and annoying. Please please for the love of Lolth make a new version of this video with you just talking in a normal voice. Thanks!!
Thanks for the Comment and Advice. I plan on improving the audio quality on my G & D-Series videos. But first, I am working on putting a video on the D3 Mod, which is taking much longer than expected.
Believe it or not, I am not using a computer generated voice. For the DM section, I am using Sound Effects (in Audacity) to transform my voice to a more evil sounding lich.
@@RPGmodsFan And trying things is perfectly fine. I think using that distortion for an entire video is too much - I actually couldn't follow the info. But using it as your "big bad voice" or to give something some flavor, etc., would work well.

Are you using a computer generator voice program?

The spoiler notice is too long. The voice distortion for the whole video is annoying. Imo
Oh well. I tried to do something different for this video.

@Scott B As FYI, for most all of my D&D Review videos, I do add subtitles. Just click the "cc" icon to see them.
