God that bike sounds awesome echoing through the stadium! Chad giving the people what they want! Him back on the Yamaha on the SX track! Brought back good memories and I'm sure great ones for you too, Chad an Ellie! Glad you landed that sketchy one!
Indeed! I would pay A LOT to see a race with all the old giants like McGrath, Carmichael, Reed, Travis Pastrana together. I hope someone can make this happen. And OF COURSE they need to race their old bikes too!
I would rather see adds for Race Tech, FMF, Pro Circuit, etc. Not YT crap that will cut chad off mid sentence. Support what is left of our free market in this industry, not YT state run commie crap.
LOVE THAT ECHO! You reminded us of how much FUN it used to be watching these 2-strokes indoors. That wonderful smell of small engine oil, and that thunderous echo of almost 2 dozen bikes all throttling at once! Pace did awesome.
I was cheering for Reed when he was battling with Stewart in ‘09 for the SX title. He’s a freaking awesome human being. A true champion not in just motocross, but life. It’s athletes like him, is why I love this sport so much.
15:15 brought a slight tear to my eye, the icon that got me into this sport, hitting a supercross finish on a two stroke one last time and celebrating... great to see one last time
@@linkinpiatak6669 Service Honda and Kawasaki 💚👍 make brand new 2- strokes, 125cc , 250cc and 500cc👍 I'd love to show you a KX500 2-stroke in a KX450 frame, but can't send pics on UA-cam

crazy at 30 years old i can remember seeing you killing it when i was your kids age, brings a little tear to my eye seeing you out there sending it. im sure as cool as it had to be for eli riding beside you, you had to feel the exact same way riding beside eli. two of the coolest guys in the sport! love to see you send an outdoor or even a1 next year.
This is hands down the greatest video ever! The amount of emotions I felt getting to see a childhood hero back out there on the two stroke and hear the echo was overpowering!
That gave me chills. Was so awesome to see you rippin the supercross track again. Nac nacs and one handed wips. Just like you never left. Good job homie Everyone needed that ✊️🤙
That was hands down one of the best videos of chad ever!! I loved the finish line it looked so much like y’all’s closing of him winning back in the day so awsome!!!🤘🏽💯
I thought so too, I love carbon fiber stuff. But the white plastic around the eye opening? Big, cheap and robotic looking. I would rather just have good rubber edge molding, like Bell helmets of 1979. You will be cleaning that white plastic more than your goggle lenses, and it makes a great helmet look cheap to me.
Cha d and his wife are super nice.My son had to have his attention to show the sign he made for him at Washougal mx.Actually the only kid with a sign that day. After all the signing and hoopla was way over,Chad and his wife came out to give my son a moment, I never forget that.Thank you Reeds.
Such a great event! The smell of racing fuel and dirt! We were right behind the guys who run the spider cam. Right above the third to last whoop! We didn't even realize it was a triple crown until we were almost there. Then to top it off got to see Chad Reed live! AWESOME day for me and my boys. Watching Reed ride was what got me into watching Supercross so many years ago. My first favorite rider. Still a fan! So is my wife. She was bummed she didn't go. Can't wait for next year! Was 30 feet from where Wilson crashed. That injury was nasty! Could see the blood running down his pant. The look on the Alpine Medical teams faces said it all. Glad he's doing better. Awesome video!
"Here comes the up and coming young Chad Reed, he will be one to keep on an eye on" Is what I heard at the Brisbane Entertainment Center in the late 1990's... and I have "kept my eye on him" ever since. And even more awesome to see him with his kids at this age, stage of his life too.
Been a supercross fan for 30 years. Finally made it to my first race. Was amazing to watch this live and just imagine the sound and smell of 22 of these things ripping like my childhood.
So cool! I didn't realize that you hot-lapped it with Tomac. It's gotta be pretty surreal out there on that 04'! Even crazier to think that when you were killing it in the 04' Supercross season, Eli was only 11 years old! LOL
So awesome. Love seeing Ricky’s reaction when Chad walked in the booth. All the guys from that era seem so stoked to see each other which is just so cool to see. Great vid guys, they get better every time!
I wish we still had a 2 stroke class..... Always appreciate you stopping by my Channel and thanks for the SUB. I'm making some longer videos for background music for the holidays. Just look for "FOCUS" music on the thumbnail.... the last one is set to Piano
Luv hearing the YZ 250 2-stroke echoing through the stadium for the pre-race !! Your Awesome Chad Reed ! Your a Awesome Dad and husband ! Always a world- class Rider !! Thanks for being the Good in this world !!! 👍👍😎
Glad you saved it and didn't get hurt. It made for some awesome footage though. They gave you the flame treatment there to. Must have felt pretty good.
Goosebumps! Love the two smoke blasting through the track! So awesome love this vlog and everything about it. So cool you guys showing the Frisella family around the race scene
Man he pretty much flatlanded off the huge table top jump when he was having throttle problems......and barely a wobble. Chad's racing was always exciting to watch as he always seemed to give 100% to win.
Chad is the man.since first meeting him back at broome tioga in the early 2000s and then when I'd see him every yr at broome or unadilla he always remembered me and showed my respect. Dude is a class act and a legend .this gave me goosebumps
🔥right on cr, just awesome to see you out there shredding dirt on that bike. As a kid all I remember were the 250 smoker days.. you really look solid on that bike, like you never even parked it🔥👊🔥🏍🏍🏍 so cool man love it all
What a legend, he still looks like he could compete! And what about the the sound of the 2 stroke in the empty stadium!!! Wow 😳 Also can someone tell me if he clutches or not coming out of the turn right at 5:20 cheers 🫡
To ride a 2-stroke fast, you almost always keep a finger on the clutch and front brake levers. Stop it at 5:17. Yes, he used the clutch, and I can tell he is a bit out of practice with it. But these tracks don't need the best corner speed anymore, and he let it bog just a bit and just touched the clutch to make the jump. I don't have to see it, (can't see his clutch finger after 5:17). I can hear it.
Had a throttle stay open a couples of times. Really scares you at the time and trusting it wont happen again. I've just restored a YZ 250 1989 and a face lift to my YZ250F 2003. I'm an old chap and do vintage mx (Aus) now and then. My brother pointed out my race number, 103. I think that number was Chad's number when to he first went to SX. Cheers.
Scary moment with the throttle. A mortal man would have panic and faceplanted. For Chad, probably scary but his natural instinct trying to correct the bike and himself and actually ride it out, technique of a champion. And what is there to say? Two stroke’s factory tuned it simply cant get much better. #22
Such a mix of feelings! I remember Chad when he raced the lites class and then moving up, raced Ricky and then James, those times where awesome!!! I don’t think those battles exist now! That was pure heart racing.. I gotta say I was not a fan of Chad at that time but I’m a huge fan of the sport and what they did for the sport is huge! Massive respect for the thunder from down under! Btw we are the same age! 1 day older than me 😅
Man I’m happy for yo Chad that must have been great fun. The excitement of the crowd one more time. Thanks for all the gritty epic battles. Oh, yup, I follow your channel . Cool to see those kids progress. Just like when I started watching that little kid dangerboy

Nothing beats the sound and the smell of a 2 stroke. Well maybe 20, 2 strokes!
That Pro Circuit sound over the whoops is mesmerizing! Nothing like a good old 2-smoke!
