Omg, I have the washer to this dryer. My knob stopped working 6 years ago been stuck on colors ever since. The repair guy said I needed a new board and was $800 to fix. Well washer broke the other day and i finally got the dryer off the washer as they are stacked and I finally got to pull out the control board and take a look. The fricken knob has bad solder joints that separated from the board! I tested the switch and tested fine so I soldered it back on and now I can run diagnostics since the machine is having a either 0ump or water inlet, I'm not too sure but I did see one relay that needed solder as well. Niw I guess I'll go out her back together , finger crossed she work
Thanks for the video. On the T07 test, my dryer was slow to reach 79° (like 4 mins). On T08 I got to 114° no time flat, faster than your video, lol. I did every other test successfully but it still takes 4 hours minimum to dry a load of stuff. If I clean any more stuff out of it, I'll be taking parts out, lol. Any idea what the issue would be? Also, sensor dry NEVER works, so timed dry is the only way but no matter the temperature settings 4-6 hours to dry. Please help.
So I figured I'd be a smartarse and put my clothes in during T08 test 🤓The temperature started at 94° and has slowly dropped to 87°,which I believe is not as low as it's gonna get 😞 I'm going to clear off my clothes wrack so I can dry my clothes on my balcony. We got a solar powered dryer out there 😬
It would be a relay needing replaced or the motor...from what I have experienced it's usually a relay...there should be 2 relays...when you take your control panel loose flip it up on top of the dryer you should see the two relays when that stops mid cycle you should tap on one of them relays and it should come back on running if it doesn't tap the other ones
I am not a ge tech but have similar problem but with t08 test, here is my findings so far. Cleaning the dryer fan by opening dryer and vent inside the dryer greatly helps with improved drying. Try this first. GE dryers have 2 coils and they run of separate 120 circuit relays. T07 test powers Outer coil. T07 powers inner coil. T07 not raising temp can mean number of things related to outer coil, could be a bad coil or bad thermistor or bad relay for outer coil. You can open the dryer (a cumbersome process) to rule out thermistor or coil. Relays r hard to reach as u have to remove the motherboard. In my case I have tested coils and thermistor and still can't locate the issue. I suspect the following. I used to use on low and medium heat hence must have been running my dryer mostly on inner coil and now it is close to failing but not totally failed. My outer coil is working fine so when Put on high heat it drys clothes. Yours may be opposite of this . Eventually I am going to replace the heating element but is a 100 dollar experiment
My minute timer is counting down is seconds now for some reason And also when I press signal delay start x2 after resetting it doesn’t enter diagnostic mode. Same exact model.
I entered the diagnostic mode and got e60 from the second test. Now somehow the dryer is stuck showing e001 and won't do anything. Every button press makes two beeps. I've unplugged it for 30 minutes but after plugging back in the e001 still displays and no buttons work. I've help the cancel button for several seconds as well as the power button nothing clears the e001. Help!!!

This sis a dryer video! 😂
No one give 2 fk’s about your washer! You should delete the comment just to keep yourself from looking like a troll 😂
Thanks, this is great! Also, the pauses are excellent.

On t07 my dryers temperature remained the same, on t08 the temperature raised greatly. Any idea what’s going on?
