You can still improve in all of these simultaneously right? At the moment I'm following a plan with overcoming and quasi isometrics, as well as high rep calisthenics, and resistance cardio so I'm wondering if it'll just not get me anywhere or if it'll actually get me great results overtime.

You mentioned carrying a backpack and I suddenly understood why I was so strong my sophomore year in highschool. My chem teacher tried to move it out of the way once and asked how much it weighed. We checked and turns out I had been lugging around 20 lbs of schoolwork that had accumulated over the school year up and down 4 flights of stairs everyday.

Hi JaxBlade, my name's Dillon and I'm soon to be 17, over recent years I have been on and off trying to get in shape as I've always seen my favourite anime characters with these amazing bodies and always wanted to try and replicate that in a way. I've been watching your videos for a while and although originally my approach to fitness was way off the mark, watching you and others like GokuFlex has really helped me to workout correctly and sort out my terrible habits with food. Anyway to cut this short, thank you so much for the amazing work you do for all your viewers and keep up with this for as long as you are able.
    Thanks again!!

I feel that relative strength is important because being able to move myself through a plane of motion is a foundation of overall strength. Controlling self comes first whereas controlling everything is secondary...it can't be vice versa. My absolute strength is basic but I feel that I can progress further with developing my relative strength.

Relative strength building is my personal goal, I like how it’s like increasing strength efficiency. But I don’t have a body type that builds that naturally. My body builds explosive and absolute strength more easily in comparison. Makes doing calisthenics more difficult when I’m bulking up as I go.

I'm wondering if you have any less expensive life hacks to make you wanna go to the gym? My plan is literally me thinking I can't possibly be too lazy to work out like an hour a day if the gym is right next to me

    • @ShyBoy6ty9
      @ShyBoy6ty9 2 роки тому

Some days you're just not going to feel it. Make it a point just to go. If all you do is walk in the door, lift some light dumbbells or hop on the treadmill for five minutes, more than likely you're going to want to keep going. If you still don't want to workout after five or so minutes, then you legitimately didn't feel like working out that day, and you at least gave it a solid effort.

BOOMUHFUGGA! If I had to pick just one to improve I'd say my relative strength, my pull ups are not where I want them to be. My endurance and explosive strength are both pretty good. I walk just about everywhere (college, shops, town etc) usually carrying something or other, I do a fair amount of cardio both steady state and interval and I always incorporate some form of explosive exercise into my routine. I probably could stand to lift more but right now I'm just annoyed at how quickly I gas on pull ups.

We should get a slasher movie where one or more guys excel at these strengths and they make it show VERY clearly, but despite their power, the monster still bodies them after a decent struggle. Personally I've come to believe that in the end you're only in competition with yourself....how good are you now compared to how you were, and where you want to be. Don't worry about what the other guy is doing or can do, or did do. Not gonna lie, it took awhile to get to that view and it's easy to slip ( also I didn't come up with it, I read it somewhere else at some point years ago and realized the person had a damned good point ) back into the mindset of worrying about how the other person is doing and comparing yourself. But I still think it's healthier mindset than comparing yourself to others. That being said for a number of reasons ( diet and laziness on my part being big ones ) I'm super fat right now and really need to start getting some sort of exercise, just improving my diet won't cut it. That's my motivation

Train all of these, and you somehow unlock the power of the female protagonist in AvP; the ability to survive multiple alien horrors, while only having a sexy little cut on your face. I've been a big fan of the growth of Natural Movement; Bing mindful of functionality. To Carry, climb, jump, fight, and throw. Those movement that are inimical to the human experience. Boomuhfugga

You've always inspired me to work on calisthenics and bodyweight. My next goal is a muscled up, which I think would be pretty helpful in these situations.

Im more interested in (body flow, using the momentum of multiple parts of the body), muscle memory and reaction time plus endurance, and a Simi fit build, what is the best type of exercises for that?

BOOMUHFUGGA- The type of strength I think I have more of is absolute. Would definitely want to work on relative and Endurance.

I can do some (not clean) Muscel Ups and can jump really high, highest ecualy from all people I personally know. And Im also a Quite solid thrower.
    And going regually cycling.
Just lacking in Max Strenght couse I never went in my live to a Gym 😂 And were should I get the weight for it😂
Want to increase im Relativ, but Max should also get some work

First off @JaxBlade Boomuhfugga, I am short woman and I'd say the form of strength that I have is speed, agile and endurance. I like going hiking when have the time to so but usually go on paths that not for first time hikers. And then there's my running which I try to do five days at lest or six days I give my self at lest one rest day. I think I'll work more on relative strength training, but over all I am happy were at because I know I can run for the hills or clime a tree if there's a monster bump in the night. I want to know will you ever do a tire list of horror movie monsters?

Another great vid! I've been working on relative strength lately, by way of calisthenics. I see it as like the oxygen mask on a plane. You can't take care of others if you don't take care of yourself first. And BOOMUHFUGGA!
