All three are great sounding........lovely........perhaps the Mulberry one has the right balance of bass and mids.....and then again it's a matter of taste and ...ears........and cost.
I like the third one. The sound is deeper. Such beautiful pieces of instruments and great workmanship. How Can I purchase one of these and how much does it cost? Do you ship to the USA?
The instrument is the Greek version of the oud with almost an identical sound box but with the difference that the finger board unlike its Turkish, Persian and Arabic counterpart has frets and is a bit longer.
Love the warm authentic sound of number 3
Me too
The second one, the carved mulberry, captures well the mid to low range frequencies, complementing other higher frequency stringed instruments.
They all look and sound beautiful but I prefer the 3rd one, made from cedar of
Lebanon. It has a softer, mellow resonance. Thank you.
Ναι ναι Στέλιο.. Μας αποπλάνησες στα ελληνικά.. Αποπλάνησέ μας και στα αγγλικά τώρα!!! Παναγία μου οργανάρες!!!!!!

Prefer the third one, which I hear as 'warmer' than the first two!. Awesome instruments!
Agreed it has such a rich sound. Think of how dark chocolate is sweet but has some bitterness, the ebony adds much needed bass to the cretan lute.

If a Guitar marry's an Oud they will have a baby called Laouto !!! Beautiful instrument.. specially the third one..wow sounds amazing!
The Laouto with cedar sounds very full!

Ooo the third one is ..................

Amazaque is a kind of Mahogany
Φίλε μου η διαφορά στον ήχο στα σκαφτα οφείλεται στο καπάκι ή σκάφος; τρομερο το τριτο!!!!
It sounds and plays kind of like the Oud

Waht your instruments strings tuning? Ex C2c3G2g3D3d4aa3!
The bottom (bass) string is E, the one above is actually a 2nd lower (D), then a fifth up (A) and then another fifth up (E).
This is an Archtop Cretan Lute:ua-cam.com/video/rqrkr4oHhfg/v-deo.html called a "Celtic Cretan Lute".
