Bender is more evil than robot devil, based on the fact that bender sacrificed his first son for an army of robots
Fry knowingly tries to sacrifice himself several times to save other characters' lives (particularly Leela) and goes to extreme lengths to save them during other episodes (e.g. when he wants to spend the rest of his life searching for Bender through a telescope). Fry only survives the series through deus ex machina.
On the other hand, being ultra-passive like Kif, to the extent of allowing oneself to be bullied into total submission, is not a desirable trait nor virtue. In terms of virtuous action, Fry and then Leela are very clearly the top two (with Nibbler and his far-flung overarching "save the universe" aims somewhere up there too). Amy is true neutral by comparison.
The main problem with this list is the questionable intrinsic definition of "good". Fry is actively good, while Kif is just passively not bad for the most part.
Yeah, whos better? Average Joe before the time capsule (idiocracy), or after? Cuz before he just sits on ass. After, he saves the world, but becomes a criminal in the process. Lol.
That's why I think Kif is somewhere around neutral with Amy.
Amy might lean slightly towards evil given she seems to have little virtue when it comes to sex i.e. aside from Bender she seems to be the most promiscuous main character. That demonstrates she has little respect for herself and probably even less restraint which might explain why she got into a relationship with Kif, the most passive character on the show, who she thought would be unlikely to object to her flippant additude towards sex.
Well Amy did have sex with Zapp very soon after Kif died. I get she was manipulated into it, but she seemed to have zero qualms about getting into bed with a known womanizer in spite of her grief so fast that its hard to blame Kif for being upset with her about that.
Lucas Martinez Good point. I'd forgotten about that. That makes it even sillier that she's considered a virtuous character in this video. I stand by my assessment of Amy being pretty neutral overall, though that was definitely the worst thing her character ever did. Maybe she deserves to be knocked down a couple of steps.

Yeah, Fry should be at or near the top. He may be stupid but he's incredibly selfless and consistently heroic when anyone else is in danger. Definitely deserves a much higher ranking

I'm honestly watching Futurama for Zoidberg. Robot Santa and the pogo stick honestly made my week.

BUT what if he was never sent to the future THUS not allowing bender to get electrocuted and have a change of personality THUS not allowing him to coincide with Planet Express and be able to go do missions accordingly with leela and Fry THUS not being able to save the earth everytime a mission failed? If you think about it, to fry It was the Future, BUT TO Nibbler, it was the past. TWO DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS. I do believe the professor mentions how the last crew didn't make it due to not being the brightest. It's crazy but everyone is a tiny dust atom in this vast galaxy for a reason...

I don't know if it was completely accurate but weren't nibblers actions responsible for saving the entire universe ? Because in that "What if" machine it showed that had Fry not have been sent to the Future the entire universe would've ultimately been destroyed.

3. Hermes's son and wife
4. Fry's cloned little boy
5. Fry's dog when he worked in pizza

11. Lrrr and his wife.
All of these characters were ALOT in the series, despite them not being the main characters.

What about Scruffy, the Janitor?
I feel as though you should have mentioned Zoidberg cutting off Fry's arm *right after* Fry refused to kill him in a deathmatch and declared him a friend... despite the fact that Zoidberg was the one that requested the match in the first place, and more or less forced Fry into the situation.
His explanation for Fry being placed as neutral was basically, “He’s a morally good character, but he’s lazy.”
Zap actually has 1 really impressive accomplishment.
He talks the omicronians out of genociding all of humanity and compromises that they'll just eat Leela. And then almost manages to save Leela as well. He's had a ton of failures but that one is actually really impressive.
So he literally took the extinction of all humanity and negotiated/fooled (if it weren't for the hippy) that down to 0 human deaths (unless you count the hippy).
I would've included Lrrr between Bender and Nixon, and the robot devil just before santa.

Fry should be higher. Fry should be right after Zoidberg, remember the tens of times he threw his life away for others? Remember when he gave away the sight of a supernova so his friends could have some popcorn? Remember when he also almost got himself killed to get Leela a good Christmas gift? And I didn’t even mention him moving stars to spell out that he loved Leela, an act he worked towards for a very long time.
So yea, fry is a good side, but as much as fires are good sides, fry, is a better man to be at your side

Too minor a character imo, it was stupid that robot Santa was even on the list as well... Robot Santa / Devil are themed and/or event based characters... ZB / "Mom" are easily the worst (well I'd say Nixon but he's not exactly a futurama character, unfortunately)

I would say bender is somewhat of a antihero in a way because he does care deeply of things he like of his own and he did save the city by fighting a giant so i think he deserves his spot in the middle he is also one of my favorite characters

Zap rejected leela when he was seeing her mom, that was pretty admirable and should put him above mom, hes more of a bumbling baffoon then a truly evil person like Mom.
I mean he did send wave after wave of men to defeat the kill bots by reaching there kill limit.

Watching this makes me want to binge the series for the millionth time.
I think you forgot about the Robot Devil.
One of my favorite parts in Futurama will forever be when Robot Santa confronts the gang at headquarters and proclaims, “YOU HAVE ALL BEEN VERY NAUGHTY! Except you Zoidberg. Here’s your present.” If Santa’s standards are so high, but Zoidberg is “good” enough to receive a gift, should he not technically be #1 on the “good” spectrum of the list?

You know what I like most about Bender? He could have easily been written to be the most evil of the characters when the writers gave him a really touching sides to his personality. He strongly advocates for the rights of fellow robots and has endearing interests like becoming a chef, as well as a folk singer. He also deeply cares about the humans that he deems exceptions to his “Kill all humans” dream even if it may not always seems that way. His bad behavior and crimes he commits are also still genuinely hilarious for the most part, and sometimes we all wish we could get away with such things in life! I know this may seem cheesy, but there’s a good reason he’s my favorite character on Futurama. The list Wicked Binge was Okay, there were many other characters they could have added like the Robot Devil, but, they pretty much hit the nail on the head with Bender! 🤖🍺🚀

I would say Amy's father should be in the villain category. He tried to bulldoze an entire arm of the galaxy for a golf course. He's basically Chinese Mr Burns
Zapp's biggest crime by far is not wearing any damn underwear and wearing basically a mini skirt so anytime he sits down everyone can see his doodle. He has to have left thousands of traumatized people in his wake.

Great list and video, but I feel quite a few recurring characters are missing here - The Robot Devil, Lrr (FROM THE PLANET OMICRON PERSEI 8!), Calculon, The Donbot, Amy and Leela's parents, and Scruffy (I guess the show itself lets you off the hook here, considering the way the characters react to Scruffy when they see him). Since you included Robot Santa, I feel these guys definitely qualify. I actually forgot about Robot Santa at the end, and guessed The Robot Devil would be ranked most evil.

Zoidberg should be most good, he is the only person considered good by robot Santa.
I disagree. He tries to kill fry after fry tries to help him. Then as a giant he also tries to take out new New York. I'm sure I could think of more, but zoidberg isn't terrible, but he also isn't perfectly good either.
Robot Santa got his one redeeming moment in the 1st movie to help take on those gross looking scammers that hacked Bender (who BTW didn't feel guilty about the suicide booths, he felt guilty about blowing up Lars/Fry's apartment, thinking he'd killed him.) Therefore I think the scammer aliens should be the most evil on the list, they caused more trouble in their one movie episode than any other character in the series.

You put Hermes lower than Fry because he bullied Zoidberg, yet you put Leela above Fry and call her "intrinsically good" despite the fact that she's habitually physically abusive. Fry deserves to be above her on this scale; he's never been violent, and the What-If machine never said Fry would be a murderer if he followed through on his impulses.
Futurama is still my all-time favorite show.

Yeah, Robot Santa isn't that evil. Sure he's evil, but that was because of a programming error, and not his fault. Plus robots don't have free will (Farnsworth's fault, making the Professor even more evil because every evil thing every robot does is attributed to him).
Mom is far more evil than she is on the list, because even Hubert was disgusted by how evil she is compared to himself.

Nice. Archer was the show I wanted to see next but tied with F is for Family buf FitF has it beat juuuuuuuuust slightly. Like, just the tip 😜. For most of this decade Archer has been the best animation on TV, and is still a VERY close second behind FitF...

Good list but I'd move robot devil to the 2nd spot closest to evil, then put mom ahead of zapp. I'd also replace the 4th spot with Lrrr (RULER OF THE PLANET OMNICRON PERSEI 8).

if we remove robot santa out of the equation, it really shows just how corrupting and evil of an influence power can be considering that kif and zoidberg literally have no power at all but are the most kindhearted and innocent characters of the show while zap and mom have an incredible amount of power and influence but not only are cruel individuals but in many ways show how little they value the lives of others but their own. just goes to show absolute power corrupts absolutely

I just watched the episode where Hermes gets fired and started thinking of how an alignment chart would look.
I disagree with some of these positions, Kif shows his true colors when put in charge of Fry taking him down several places. Zoidberg & Fry are definitely top of the list, though perhaps Zoidberg gets less opportunities to save the world, he has shown he is just as willing and perhaps has less moments where he is selfish. I also think Bender and Nixon are more evil than Zapp.
Oh and if there's someone more evil than Robot Santa its definitely Robot Satan.
