Someone else is likely able to interpret that better then myself. I’m sure if another manufacturer was able to incorporate this feature in their vehicle it would have been done by now. I was paying for a RAM that left me stranded with only 17k miles on it. So I'll keep my outdated Tundra as I stated before. We all get to choose what works for us.

Second one was really bad, my son has a 2009 RAM and its been a great truck. I loved my RAM until it left me stranded several times. I decided to try a Tundra because my 2000 Corolla has been great even with 193k miles. So I had a bad experience with RAM, if you like them drive them. They're all great when they work and junk when they don't. You act like my comments are personal, drive what you want. I really don't care, I like simpler trucks without a lot tech. You like something different that's just peachy. AND I DON'T NEED TO USE CAPITOL LETTERS, BUT WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT...
All anyone ever complains about with the Tundra is MPG, and “it’s old”.... Seems consistent at least... Depending on which one of the Big 3 you choose it’s like playing Russian Roulette. I’d rather dealing with MPG (38 Gallon tank should solve that) and it being “old” to some than being stuck on the side of the road or at the dealership forking out money or wasting time Thanks for the review...
WANTED ONE , but drove a platinum 2 days ago , then a 2018 ram 2500 Laramie , yes the Toyota will probably last longer , but it’s already way behind , it was a lot louder inside the cab when driving , ram radio at 20 was louder then tundra maxed , tundra was comfortable ( really liked the seat bottom extension ) , drove good , doesn’t feel like a truck , kinda a tin feel , feels bigger then it really is driving it , the bed was shorter then I thought it would be , then the ram. Better interior, many more options , felt like a truck , solid , the ride felt better , seats a lot more comfortable, breaks better ,has storage all over the place ,I don’t like the new ram 1500 , and for the price I can get 2018 2500 cheaper then the Toyota platinum or the new 2019 ram 1500 , won’t get a Chevy or gmc again , and Ford is a big no ,,, after driving the 2 back to back ( wife pushed me to drive another truck that I like the way it looked ),,,,I was really let down by the Toyota , and am soooooo glad I was able to drive the two of them ,,, wife laughed at me I spent months researching the tundra and have a long list to get it where I would have wanted it , lots of $$$$$,
Some fancy interior the only tundra package I've always been facinated with is the Platinum, I have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum and this right here could be my next step.

The Tundra is WAY overdue for a redesign. This is essentially the same truck since 2007 with just minor lipstick upgrades over the years. The interior is extremely outdated and lacks many features that are now standard on most all other trucks. To top it off it has horrible crash ratings and gets terrible gas milage. If i was in the market i wouldnt even consider a Tundra for the price, the new ram is light years nicer in every aspect and im not a dodge fan at all. Toyota is falling behind the pack and they need to make some serious changes if they want to compete.

People talk about how reliable Toyota is and I tell them look up it’s crash test...they always say “wow I never would have thought of doing that” and they are shocked at how that thing performs...main reason I chose my 19 Super Duty was its crash tests. (And Diesel engine lol) The things a tank!
I can't believe they didn't use a push button start. I do believe that is the worst platinum package on any vehicle ever. Nothing really jumped out at me to make this feel more special than a regular tundra
Rams are junk throw away trucks that don't last. And the dreaded Hemi engine tick and leaking exhaust. You will never see a gas engine junk Ram with a million miles. There are three Tundras with over a million miles. You will never see this in a Junk Ram.

This truck is about 10 yers behind the competition. Absolutely nothing outstanding, and the fuel economy is dreadful. It’s way behind the American 3 trucks.

@@tacoswelding8411 still going strong 185k on the clock. Only oil changes and tires. Trans is holding up well pulling 7k 4 times a week for work. And a 5k boat. PCM had a update recall a year ago and lower ball joints replaced beginning of the year. Can’t complain about the ram. Engine is still running like champ!!!

@@tacoswelding8411 2019 new body bighorn . As with any vehicle maintenance is key. You could by a tundra or a ford or a ram any one of those are a good vehicle that will last for years. But it depends on you to keep up with it. Toyota is probably going to be more forgiving in the maintenance. My next truck probably will be the new tundra or another ram. I’m not brand loyal but I’m looking for something to keep till 200k, the ram will meet that then I will get something new. Hope this helps.
The screen in this truck is a joke compared to the 12 inch screen in the RAM there’s just no comparison, the screen in the RAM makes this screen look like a cell phone from 1998.
