I am from Peru South America, but I have lived in the US for 8 years already. I have had the chance to compare and contrast Scandinavia, US and Latinamerica. To me studying in Denmark was a life experience. I loved every single second of it and made the US seem to depressing. I loved the bike culture. It is true Danes are cold and distant, but once you get to know them they are very nice and caring. Now comparing Denmark and Latinamerica, my home is still my favorite place in the world.

Actually I'm Italian and I share the same positive stereotypes about Danish people: good looking people, most of them blond and blue-eyed, friendly and civilized folk, etc...
OT: Please, next time interview Italian people in our native language and then translate it into English: it's so embarrassing ;)

I went to Denmark last year with some highschool classmates and i had a great experience. Clean air, friendly and polite people and i really was impressed with their gender equality and work-life balance( so many fathers pushing prams around!). I even tried to pronounce rod grod med flode.

Yeah, another user wrote that they should've given people the opportunity to speak Italian and then get translated, otherwise their poor vocabulary limits what they wanna say

I went to Copenhagen once on a school trip... Nothing special about it, really nothing, was actually quite boring, and there was almost no people outside, I just saw a couple of people walking past, the whole town was cricket silent lol. It felt like I was in a very small town. I think I will go there again just to see, maybe I'll change my mind idk...

And what is wrong with that? In Italy dressing properly is a way to show respect to other people and the place you are visiting.

Have you ever tried to learn another language? I can assure you, it's really hard to express yourself in a foreign language, at least they tried so why dont' you show some respect?
