- Tom Brown, in his always brilliant, funny, and informative manner of conducting interviews, talks with music industry legends Roger Semon and Ernst Jorgensen about the fantastic 50th Anniversary Edition of “Elvis Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite”. Music expert Matt Ross-Spang also joins in the discussion for a bit, and the entire conversation is so interesting. Several songs from the new edition were played and the sound is stunning. However, due to copyright protections, this video only contains the discussion. Be sure to procure your own copy of the anniversary edition of the album - words cannot convey how great the sound is!

WOW! Great conversation here. Love the kidding and back and forth among the guys. Every time I hear how Elvis didn't like Burning Love it makes me so sad. It's in my top 3 favorite Elvis songs. I get it...he wasn't in the mood at that point in his life to do a song like that, but I'm so glad he did end up recording it. It's a classic...and so was this video! 💖

There was a video of EP saying that "Separate Ways" had nothing to do with what was going on in his life. He just liked the song so he sang it.
The way producers and sound engineers are using auto tune and pitch correction in repackaged re-released recordings. I would be very scared to buy ANY reissue live album because AI is destroying all live recordings. All of the true Elvis lovers who know Elvis' songs should pick it up right away. One group who has had their live music destroyed are the Eagles. Be vigilant Elvis fans.
I'm glad I bought the lp's & the cd's as soon as they were available. I can hear a difference between similar cd's between tne years & they grate my ears.
I'm from the UK & remember when it was eventually broadcasted here. I couldn't have time off work to watch, but I was allowed to have my refs late & have a bit extra...they took the fuse out of the plug! Luckily enough I sorted it before the show.

Too bad you don't get to see and hear the Elvis remixes they worked on. Having seen Elvis in person in Vegas in 1969 (he was awesome), Elvis, at this Aloha concert, looked great, sounded great, but just stood there for 90 minutes and moved very little. A great triumph, but the start of his sad demise.
I want to know this concert in Hawaii. I read somewhere about 10 years ago or more that Elvis song how great thou art and some other songs and it was not recorded by RCA that is sad I cannot find the website anymore if that’s true what was the matter with RCA and 73 and January 12 and 14 if anybody knows let me know that went to the concierge. I want to know if there was more songs that I was saying at Aloha for Hawaii was not recorded by RCA.
I presume Roger Semon, for all his good work, was the bloke who missed off Ronnie Tutt's name off the credits for this release ?
