I'm a long-time RT Punch-ins User but you've added enough features, that I might switch. For features -- One thing I would miss is the shapes and arrows from RT Punch-ins. There is a nice "dim background" setting on the rectangle that I love. This might be a different product you could create as it doesn't make much sense in a Zooms plug-in, but it is one thing keeping me from switching to the FCB version. What are you using for your arrows and callouts on screen?
Oh I would like Scale Lock values that also go about 200%, like 400, 600, 800, 1000, even if I know I'm losing quality, I still want to be able to do it on the videos I'm editing currently. :) Maybe just have it even go to 2000% lock. 😱😮😁

You're very welcome! Much deserved after all the hard work you have put into it. DaVinci Resolve is hands down a fantasitc NLE. However, the user interface is quite complicated, to say the least. Than there is the color and fusion tab. I could not wrap my head around the node system. I could never get my color correction right and to make anything in fusion, forget it. I did the free trial that Apple had going for FCPX and wanted to compare the user friendliness to Resolve. I found your channel and started watchin your tutorials and in about three days or so I got comfortable with editing in the timeline. I will admit, the magnetic timeline through me for a huge loop. However once I got used to it, I couldn't live without it. After using FCPX for a month my free trial ended and went back to Resolve and that's when I really missed the magnetic time line. It wasn't very long after that I purchased FCPX, Motion, and Compressor so I had to abilitty to do pretty much everything that Resolve could do. I haven't looked back; I really enjoy working in FCPX. Even Motion is so much easier to use than the fusion page in resolve.@@TheFinalCutBro

I’ve been using these FOR YEARS now for vertical and horizontal footage and NOT A PROJECT GOES BY without these somewhere on the timeline. These have saved me so much time it’s not even funny. Plus, the pan is amazing for when you want to highlight things you’re holding in your hand for example. I can’t recommend this enough. Just buy them already. 🎉

I wish it were possible! Unfortunately, Apple hasn't added the ability of linking a Motion Template with a sound effect 😭 Maybe someday if we are really lucky!

Purchased! A few suggestions for updates: 1. Can you add an area in the published parameters where I can adjust the amount of zoom (a sliding scale option AND a numerical px option)? As it is now, I have no idea of EXACTLY how much I’m zooming in. 2. Grabbing the corners of the zoom tool is very hit-and-miss. In fact, it seems to miss more than it hits! - Other than that, this is an AMAZING set of tools. Thanks Dylan!
Unfortunately for the second one, that’s dependent on Apple! It’s using built-in controls from Apple Motion, which I have no control over the button sizes. That said, I did discover that if you have the mouse size increased in the accessibility settings for MacOS, that’s a large reason for the misses. Once I scaled down the mouse to its original size, that issue almost completely disappeared. So that might be worth checking! Other than that, there’s nothing I can do. 😭 For the first one, I’ve been working on something like that. Hopefully I can get that addressed in the next update! Though there are some significant issues I’ve run into. Appreciate the suggestions!

Hi Dylan, I have recently purchased Pro Zoom, which for most use I have been happy with. However, I struggle to apply the PRO BURNS ZOOM effectively. Meaning, on landscape image I keep seeing the black frame before the zoom action eventually displays only the image without the black frame. I haven't figured out how to make it disappear. Probably just a small thing, I could'nt find any hint imn your instructions. Appreciate your help. Thanks
Hi Dylan. Is there a motion blur option built into Pro Zooms, or would we apply that separately? Editing to add that I ended up buying it (through a link on the "Other" Dylan's page) and bought the Motion plugins too and simply dragged on one of the blur effects. Makes for an awesome effect and doesn't "clutter up" the Pro Zooms with a bunch of stuff that can be easily added with another plugin. Thanks for both plugins. They are going to make my editing so much faster.
Hi, I got the plugin, but for some reason I'm not able to resize the rectangle in the viewer. I'm able to move around where I want the zoom but not able to scale the amount.
I love this product and use it all the time. The only thing I wish is that I could change the default settings OR make my own default settings. I mostly use it for talk heads to cover up a stumble, so No build out, .1 sec build in, and only a slight zoom in. The only work around I've found it doing it once and then option draging the effect to another clip. Is there a way to change the default setting? Thanks!
Hi Dylan, I have almost pulled the trigger on your PRo Zooms several times in the past, but wasn't sure if it would work with the videos I make for my sister's youtube channel, like will it add a blurring effect like Ripple Training's did that I bought, as she is showing fine detail craft work on book folding. So I use a ken burns quick Motion plugin I created from Mark Spencer's UA-cam video where he shows how to PUblish the Z parameter with the Scale paramters,so that Final Cut will then ease the moves. I wish there was some way to demo your Pro Zooms or a trial. If you think it would work ok on our vidoes, and you want to see one of her videos where I zoom in to her measurements and folding, I'll attach a link to this comment. Thanks Dylan!
Hey Ben! The blurring will happen on the title version of the plugin, but that’s where the effect version comes in! Your footage won’t get blurred if you apply it as an effect. I wish I could set up a trial, but unfortunately since it’s just a motion template it doesn’t work that way for me 😬 That said, I’m super fast to issue a refund if it doesn’t work for you! Haha funny you ask that! I just got an email a few days ago asking the same thing, and I mentioned needing to adjust the phrasing on there. Link Rot just means Link Rotation. It just allows you to choose if you want the Rotation timing to be the same as the zoom timing with a single click. Otherwise you can separate the two and have the rotation complete before/after the zoom. Hope that helps!
Hi Dylan, I really like your channel. I bought your pro zooms plugins and followed your instructions for downloading them. I made sure the folder names matched yours exactly. However, I still can't see them in final cut pro. I've restarted my computer and double-checked the file names. Any suggestions as to why they are not displaying in final cut pro (10.6.10)? Hey there! Just make sure you move your playhead in the timeline past the animation before moving the pan reticle. Usually about 1.5 seconds if you haven’t changed the speed slider on the pan. That will make sure you line up the pan properly. Hope that helps!
Hi Dylan, I recently asked a question how do I make the black frame dissapear using pro burns zoom, the images imported from my iphone size 3:4. No problem applying Ken, it removes the black frame by resizing the picture. I cant do the same with pro burns zoom. Do I need to resize the pictures prior to applying pro burns zoom? Hey Robert! Sorry I must’ve somehow missed your previous comment. You will need to resize the clip to get rid of the black edges. The easiest way to do this is to select your image/clip then in the video inspector scroll all the way down to “Spatial Conform” and change it from “Fit” to “Fill”. This will automatically scale the clip to fill the entire frame, so you don’t need to fiddle around with getting the scale just right. Hope that helps!

Hello, great plugin but I am running into and issue with build out, its only doing build in and not out animations on pro zooms and reasons why? I’m running fcpx 10.7.1
Using Pro Zoom, Im able to zoom in, but the build out doesn't do so at the end. It only zooms in. And it doesn't zoom the same way the box is framed, so I just adjust the square while looking at the frame to see what the clip is doing rather than using the square as a reference.

Yesterday I bought Prozoom and realized that only Prozoom came as a title, the others (pro pan, burn, etc.) came as an effect. How can I fix this?

Hello, great plugin but I am running into and issue with build out, its only doing build in and not out animations on pro zooms and reasons why? I’m running fcpx 10.7.1

Question....does Pro Zoom work with Apples's M2 Ultra chip?
Yes it does!
Using Pro Zoom, Im able to zoom in, but the build out doesn't do so at the end. It only zooms in. And it doesn't zoom the same way the box is framed, so I just adjust the square while looking at the frame to see what the clip is doing rather than using the square as a reference.
