I'm sure the presence of rear suspension is doing something but watch any 'proper' full sus mountian bike work, you can see exactly why they don't bother with this single swing arm junk anymore. That suspension shot, I saw the whole thing vibrating, it was NOT isolating you. Probably the spring it comes with is wildly too firm for your riding weight. For road use its totally fine, but its a pretty old school design. All of these have the same or similar old school design, not surprising really since anything more will involve proper engineering, pivots, and bearings (read money).
A friend bought a Cyrusher without being made aware that it’s really a class 4, or a motorcycle. Are we pretending this doesn’t need plates and insurance?
It depends on what state you live in. If you’re buying a motorized road vehicle and you don’t do a modicum of research on local laws, then you’re just asking for trouble.
I can get my Vintage Electric Bike up to 36 and let me tell you, at that speed, on an 80lb bike, it is a bit scary. Having said that, it is funny watching the reaction of some car drivers when I kinda keep up with them on the road. This X-Class is a steal for that kind of speed!
riding a bike at high speed I usually don't find that stability is the biggest issue. it can be an issue if you are cornering on a bumpy road and suspension is not adequate. braking distance can be more problematic though and also the fact that on bike you are usually not using a full car lane, if you are in a bike lane or riding on the road close to the curb you are more exposed to pedestrians, scooters, or cars trying to pass you. but speed is not necessarily a problem on the road it helps you keep with traffic. I have never ridden high speed bike with fat tires but I guess wheels are heavier and bring some stability despite the smaller radius. I hope they take speed into consideration when designing the geometry and that they go for a little bit more stability than class 2 or 3 ebikes

I hope he does too, but I can give a small rundown.
Yes, Micah is using a 360 camera and he usually mounts it on the handle bars or frame of the bike and he also uses a selfie stick to side view and rear shots.
As for audio, he more than likely uses a separate audio recorder with a lav mic on his shirt. But to cut through the wind noise, Micah uses a deadcat filter.
Super cool 😎, I want one, the price, range and performance does it for me .
Please review vanmoof s3
Looks like a good commuter / car substitute e-moto ..... but when riders take these down trails, bike paths and sidewalks they draw the ire of hikers and "acoustic" biker riders and will make it more difficult for those of us riding Class 2 bikes.
Yes, please people don't buzz other bikers/pedestrians when riding more powerful ebikes. The last thing we need is more regulations.
Do you need a license for it though
Yes, plus registration and insurance.

Can anyone speak to how this would be for a 6'2" rider? I can't find recommended rider height anywhere.
I've seen videos of guys who are 6'4" and 6'8" riding in their videos...
