My wife and I get excited as soon as we see a notification from Subarctic Sasquatch as it is one of the best encounter sites available. Fred puts a lot of effort into making sure he gets all the details and is an incredible story teller.
Fred, I enjoy your stories. They're very interesting. I have to stop everything I'm doing. Turn my phones off because I get into your story like I was there. This is Frederick from Olympia Washington. Thank you like always. Have a great rest of your day! Oh and I love the beginning with you driving through the snow. I miss being in Alaska
Fred could tell you what he had for lunch, and he'd be able to keep an entire auditorium absolutely enthralled by it. Seriously a better story teller I have never heard. Love your stuff, as always brother. Keep it up!
I enjoy listening to Sasquatch stories and the presentation style here makes the experience so much better; no nonsense, down to earth and unpretentious. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!
Thank you Alexander and Carol for sharing that frightening experience. The shock at seeing and not comprehending right away what these Hairy People are is a life changing experience to say the least. I agree about Moose being the most dangerous animal in the woods Fred, especially Mama moose. Take care stay safe .
Hey there Fred. I should have been in bed already. Then I had to get on UA-cam. What a great surprise. I always have time for you brother. Thumbs up already as I know you will not disappoint. Have a great night 👍👍👍
Great telling of this story Fred. The part where Alexander sees the footprints around their camp sight is quite chilling. I appreciate their sharing of their encounter. I look forward to your next story.
Fred, those roads look so dangerous! Especially being sped up, which is a cool effect. I cringe when oncoming traffic passes by. But I have to say the ride is beautiful! Now I'll watch the rest. 😊
Back when this encounter happened they weren't blessed like we are with all the information and ways to communicate with each other. This encounter is the perfect example of why your website and map are so valuable. You can look where you're going and see the signs and interactions and he prepared and hopefully less startled
Thanks to everyone who shares their story and thanks to Fred for telling them. There is a big difference between someone telling a story and those who read straight from an email. All the best and keep up the good work Fred.
Thank you for sharing your story with Fred. I don’t know how you remember everything so clear Fred, but you put us there when you tell the Story. That’s a amazing Talent you have. Can’t wait for the next Story Fred. I think they were really lucky the Hairy Man decided to let them stay. 👍👍
I have heard a story or two where the couple cannot agree or accept what they saw and the end up splitting up over it. Sad stuff. Happy that these two stayed together.
Than you Fred and to the individuals who shared. That would have been frightening, there is no way I could have slept after that. You give life to the peoples story and no BS. That's honorable.
Could not imagine how I would react to seeing that. Thank you for sharing your experience. Thanks again for an excellent presentation Fred. Keep on keeping on.
Damn a fishing boat capitan. Say very nonchalantly, o yeah we see these things walking the shoreline every now an then. Crazy lower 48 does not have half the activity as Alaska!!
Listening to this story makes you wonder about all those missing people you hear about who are never seen or heard from. This couple survived thank god but what about people who have had this exact experience but did not survive to tell their story, it makes you wonder. Thank you for telling us about their encounter.
Accounts like this and other similar ones is the reason for this channel, I view it like a public service announcement for public safety, hopefully people will hear things in their experiences and learn from them, thanks for listening and participating in the channel 👍😁
Hello Fred 🖐️ I know I left a comment here...I'm not sure where it went, but watching this again...was something I wanted to go eat again...Thanks for telling this story & about their encounter & thanks to Carol & Alexander for sharing it with you to tell us. Stay safe & warm Fred...thanks for all you do & God bless!!
Thanks to this beautiful couple for sharing with us. I can only imagine the horror you both experienced. You will never be laughed at by any of us. We know the truth about these beings atleast most of us here know. You are definitely appreciated so much and glad you never stopped going out into the natural areas. God bless
What freaks me out the most is how close that thing had to be to her when she was cooking those beans and she didnt even have a clue it was there. I do hate he didnt get a lick before he had to throw the stick though!
Thank you to the couple who shared your encounter. Yes, someone should have shared the other possible issues that may arise from camping in Alaska. It’s a crime, IMHO, that the government is denying these HM exist. You’re helping, as is Fred Roehl, by sharing what happened to you. Fred! You know I have the utmost respect for you. YOU are helping your community and everyone who enters the Alaskan woods. Sending love and light to you and your loved ones always! 🙌🏼🤍😊 Sending love and light to everyone who watches this channel! 🙌🏼🤍🙏🏼✊🏼
💙💙💙 I’m relistening to the episodes because they are so gripping. I feel for the folks who confronted these beings. Scary stuff, I’ll never look for an encounter.
I can understand how these incidents can make one end up isolating and going through that experience in their own head over and over. If you didnt have anyone to talk to abut something like these encounters, you would have to do it internally, for sure! Holy hell.
I am sure you have heard this Fred, but your ability to tell these stories without a bunch of cuts and editing is pretty awesome. The fact that you can recall all the facts, in a single cut, is in fact pretty crazy, in a great way. There are sooooo many, too damn many channels of people reading other people's stories that imo, have no business reading anything. No inflection, zero intonation or sense of presence, dynamics or rhythm. There is a natural flow to storytelling and Fred, you are a natural. We are blessed you started this channel, and so may you be blessed with major longevity, and I pray your subs fly through the roof, 2 million by years end bro.
Morning Fred, thanks to Alexander and Carole for telling their account. Being that far from 'civilisation', so remote from any assistance, and having that happen, bloody terrifying. When recounting what happened to them, it's clear that parts of it take you back to your encounter. Its almost as if this was more curiosity and observation, rather than the other accounts where people have been terrorised. I can't imagine going through that though, especially with having no knowledge of the HM. Thank you for bringing these things to us. Have a good one, stay safe.
I think it's hard to imagine being really alone in the wilderness, with no where to go, knowing something freaky weird is watching them. Funny connection - there's an encounter story not far from where I live here in Australia of a Yowie being attracted to a camp by an open tin of beans. Fred, if you're ok, I can post a link to that interview below here. ua-cam.com/video/3R1J2xGC7AY/v-deo.html
YIKES! I know what would have been my biggest issue. Tracks all over & around the campsite. There's not really anywhere else to move camp. And this is the #1 problem; your pick-up outta there is still days away!
Hey Fred! Thank you so very much for being that listening ear. Thank you “Alex” and “Carol” for sharing your encounter with Fred! Catch you on the next one. ✌️😎
Omg. F that. Being stuck there, terrified, exhausted. Thank you both for sharing your story. They do that whistle at my house and it’s very loud and creepy. There’s 2 tones they do. It’s like Marco Polo game or some thing. I whistled back at them using my fingers, which is super loud and it wasn’t even half as loud as theirs. They’ve been around here so long I don’t worry about them but it’s annoying as hell. My friend stopped by this morning, walks in and says “your people are out there whistling. That’s fucking LOUD!” I said “yup”. I don’t know how they make that noise. I was looking one right in the eyes and it did it without opening its mouth🤔🤔🤷♀️ we have no idea what these things are capable of or how they do it but it’s bizarre as hell. Last month was frog noises until I finally did it back at them and told them they sound ridiculous. Then the whistles started. I hope everyone that hears these stories believes them and acts accordingly while out in the woods or anywhere there’s cover for them to be at. They are in towns too. Don’t be fooled.
Fred, you are a Rock Star! You are spreading so much awareness about the Hairy Man. I live in Washington state, they are for sure here. Keep doing what you do best! ❤❤ I have learned so much watching your channel❤
thanks for sharing! and yes. there are also weirdos in the woods sometimes. Interesting how many times people/kids describe it as a person in a furry coat.
What a terrifying experience being stuck in the wilderness with no way to leave and these creatures circling your camp, not knowing they’re intentions?
The scariest stories are always the ones where are you are stuck out in the wilderness waiting for your ride. Talk about mental torture. Even more unsettling is that the dogs didn’t hear them walking around their tent.I’m glad nothing happened to them from the hairy men.

Why would anyone bring their dogs on a trip like this. Omg that’s nuts. It’s the wilds of Alaska. That’s really crazy. I love my fur babies so much and I could never bring them on a trip like this. Esp leaving them tied up and then you leave. Not trying to be judgmental but that would cause me so much stress. Esp when brown bears and moose are in this area

For some reason the image of a sasquatch poking a stick in the beans to smell it is pretty funny to me.
Maybe it was a Mrs. Squatch hoping to get the recipe?
Pretty clever
