Crazy thing about this Splyce team is that they never actually scrimmed. They played 2v2s against each other to “practice”
interesting strat, now I never played in actual 4 player teams, could that have had an actual impact, with their competitors knowing nothing about their playstyle?

God damn this was impressive to watch. I’m a Tox fan through and through, but splyce was so good at this time. I was too much a of a Tox fan to give splyce the credit they deserved back in 2018

also another thing to note is Shotzzy with any other players wouldn’t have won as well . they all complimented each other
Pretty dumb comment. Renegade and Stellur were both nasty H5 players in their own right. Eco was/is still one of the best all around players in Halo and he’s a great in game leader. Shotzzy was definitely a difference maker player but he wouldn’t have fit in well with that many other top players because at the time those four were playing the game faster and in pairs differently than other teams. They all played fast and it worked perfectly.
On a side note the only person I would of dropped someone on Spylce for in the league at this point would have been Frosty. If you paired Shotzzy and Frosty at their peaks in H5 on a team they literally wouldn’t lose games to anyone.

That's a lot of crowd compared to last year when ESL host halo!! Thank you MLG for caring and putting in a lot of work to make the stage look nice. Unlike esl which made halo stage look bad. Cant wait for Halo esports to grow and surpass COD bc halo is way more competitive and intense to watch than cod

But I have to say, that award ceremony was weird as hell. Most people would jump in the air and celebrate if they became the World Champions in anything, but them... They treat it like just another day.
A bit unsettling. I don't know if it's because of their age or personalities or what, but it's not an expected reaction to winning a world championship in something you're passionate about.

Splyce have proven themselves now. 3 tournaments in a row. They are like Tox when they became the big dogs, confident in themselves, and confident in their team.
What i would tell Tox, and i mean everyone: learn to trust your instincts in a situation, and learn to trust your teammates' instincts. Learn to do this again, like you learned to do when you finally got your first place finish. You've forgotten that feeling, that's all, and you're losing confidence in everyone including yourselves. Respect Splyce for what they've done in dethroning you, but remember that feeling that let you*have* a thrown to begin with....
Congrats Splyce, you guys did it, earned my respect. I'll admit it, i thought Tox was going to come back this tournament, but you did it. Much respect...

Halo breeds the best CoD Pros. The transition for them is an easy fit after winning halo tournaments that's a fact. Example: Formal, Enable, Crimsix (Top 4 placing ) Huke(Coming from CoD) Frosty, and Shotzzy
Just had this convo today halo is really based on team work and head shots are so crucial and the muscle memory for always shooting at the head just comes naturally for halo pros. And rolling over to cod they all dominate.. cod health is not as much as halo so there bound to dominate... glad shottzy made it and is a champ again !EMPIRE!
