If you hook up your glass working bench to a water pump the glass building pieces actually come out with a higher durability and you won't get storm damage on them. This way you don' thave to build additional pieces to put above them. (I know this video is 11 months old but I bet some people might still find it, like I randomly had it suggested to me.)
This video is a bit dated now. But I will say that your voice sounds calming and genuine. A lot of the other Icarus tips videos, made by other guys, is like nails on a chalk board (abrasive voice and "steamer" inflections in their voice). Your content is direct and to the point, the information is clear and comprehensible, your tips are not just copy pasted ideas(most other tips videos have the same content repeated like they just watch each others videos and repeat it, nothing original). Im subbed to you now. Hope to see more content in other videos, regardless of what games.
I have a good amount of game play but always learning something new. Good video. The crop plots were something new for me and the bio generator cool stuff.
This video is def legit. I knew about the control and alt clicking for inventory items but that control shift combo is great and I had no idea. I actually learned something unlike the other videos I've watched where people just point out obvious shit.
If you want to have glass walls as durable as stone walls, connect water to your glass working bench. It will then be able to craft reinforced glass pieces.
Yep. It's definitely a point of contention for a lot of people. Honestly, it's not too time-consuming to get a makeshift base up and running once you know what you're doing. For people who want to just build and explore the map, there is a mode called "outpost" that let's you keep your base.
I'm over 600 hours into this game and I learned quite a few things from this!
Considering I put together the video a couple years ago, I'm glad it's still helpful!

Thanks so much for your positive feedback! And yeah, this video is definitely old at this point, haha
awsome idea about adding a 'garden shield' for your roof

I'm just glad that some of this stuff still applies after 11 months of weekly updates to the game lol
This is awesome. I’ve watched many Icarus “tips and tricks” vids and this is the first one I’ve seen that is all really tricky stuff. Thanks. Subbed.

Its literally on the screen. You should read your screen.
I believe any day I learn something is a good day. Today, after this video, is a great day. So much great info❣ Thank you for sharing.
Great tips, subbed!

Great tips, thanks!
Nice, thank you!
Apparently, you learn something everyday. I had no idea about #5!
Me neither. 500 hours in. Nice find.
Thats was real Tips. Thanks
I could be wrong, but "damage" to your lanterns is actually burning through their fuel.
Nice video again! You have a good „narration voice“! Cya on twitch!
Oh no. My glass wall is broken. How can I fix it? Duh, hit it with a hammer.
It's reverse psychology.
Post all your twitch streams on UA-cam for me. Internet works better with youtube than it does on twitch. Thanks.
Ha, just super longform videos. I might have to create a separate YT account for that...
In ever mission you start from zero and do all work really ?
