Carmine was one of the best drummers in the world. The best back up band ever was when Rod recorded Footloose and Fancy Free. This album was on of 5 great albums - Night on the town, Blondes have more Fun, Atlantic Crossing and Sailing. I have 32 of Rods albums and love them all but those are my best 4. Seen Rod in concert 5 times here in NZ.
I am very impressed that you know so much about Rod's music, his albums, and his tours. I am a late bloomer. It's just now that I am beginning to listen to Atlantic crossing 🚸. Tgat blondes have more fun. I can tell from the beginning albums to later ones the different topics or subjects or even How his voice voice has altered as he gets older. I know you're a true Rod Stewart fan, so I'm going to say he's still great. However, it is recognizable how he changes and evolves into the performer he is today. Now that I'm looking at everybody's comments on UA-cam, I cannot believe how many beloved fans he has.🎉 I honestly think he should have a party for all of you. Rent out a big huge. hotel and let all of you true fans just enjoy his music and memorabilia because you guys deserve it, I sincerely mean that without all of you die heart fans, he wouldn't even be standing on a stage!! God bless 🕊️🌈🌹❤️⚡

Yeah, he'd thought the same when realising about punk movement and then moved on quickly toward disco music. "Da ya think I'm sexy" is just one year older than this and is a brand new world

Rod's version is by far the best version, the use of dynamics always makes the world of difference.

Great always rod..
Just played CD in the car and wanted to see live
Me too. I didn't know there was a live version. I listened the studio version about 200 times or so.
That is music thanks rod
Such true lyrics!
SOME OLE ROCK ROD !!!
great great song....and yes Carmine was that backbone of the arrangement
Carmine brought this great arrangement with him from Vanilla Fudge where he was the drummer previously.

Very much like the Vanilla Fudge version of this tune. Carmine I'm sure had a say so in that.
