This is unbelievable! Takes bleach painting to a whole new level.
No more google searching, this is exactly it.. using plain bleach and art skills!! This gives me hope I can design my clothes without expensive stencils and practice art and calligraphy. Now I want to practice on these black shirts I can't wear and see what calligraphy tools I can make! I'll practice mixing it with non-chemical liquid so it flows slower like flour, cornstarch, or sponges between tape so I can make cool striped henna clothes. Calligraphy works with plastic straws and metal scraps so its exciting how many experiments I can do. Subbing

By the way, does anybody knows what kind of bleach did they use? I mean what percantage of bleach? This might change the result :)

What bleach concentration did you use, how long did you leave it and did you use something to neutralize the bleach to stop the action before it broke down the fabric? So many questions, I know.

Well I asked the guys and they said it's "secret sauce" so i guess you
have to experiment ... and share with us if you find out :P
I did this technique on a jeans with a acid wash spray at a Denim Factory. and the results are pretty amazing..
damn "secret sauce" ... just say it, i have when designers have their head up their asses. too scared of someone doing better than you? that's why you cannot reveal your secret sauce?
Its bleach and water, you just need to test it out and find the right balance

Well those are specialized for calligraphy, but i guess you can use any
other ones :) And yeah the size is totally up to you ;) Glad you love

Nothing used to soak the clothes... just need some bleach and brush ;)

Is it safe to wash or will the bleach spread?
It's safe, but i think you gotta wait to be totally dry before washing it, maybe even iron it first

I tried a few times but the bleach spreads on the shirt. What do i mix with the bleach to give me fine lines? i can't find any solution online and have experimented with the following:
Water
Vodka
and Water Based liquid Glue.
Has anyone got straight lines when writing with bleach?
What kind of bleach would get that red colour to it? When I've worked with bleach in the past it always came out yellow/tan. I'd much prefer this rusty colour!
I think maybe the problem you are having lays in the solution? Most black- dark dyes are red based, so very diluted bleach should yield reddish hues, but if the bleach is undiluted maybe it's eating the red too...
What is the water in the bottle? which is mixed with bleach into the bowl.
