Love it, my boys want to come car camping with me now, so today I had to go buy a load of wood to build a double bed in the crib, Can't wait to start building it tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be taking my oldest on his first car camp on the weekend. That star disc looked awesome. And the biscuit tin is also looking sick, lol. Makes me want to buy a cheap corsa and make a mini Camper lol.

That was epic. Small cars have lots of little nooks and crannies to shove stuff into. Managed to watch the vid on my second night in Scotland in my little 3dr fiesta and all space has been utilised. Look forward to more roller skate camps. X

Would the front passenger seat bolt in turned around so its facing backwards? while driving you could fold it down so its not blocking your view, and when parked lift the backrest back up so your feet go on the seat, and the backrest will also act as a barrier for the curtain to stop if handing in over your legs, would just have to fix the handle. The star map on the ground looked cool, might have to try and visit it some day

I got to be honest I wasn't totally sold on the idea on the biscuit tin car camp but you've made it work and shown people it doesn't matter what vehicle you've got you can get out and sleep in it. Fair play mate and looking forward to the next camp 👊

Couldn't you just reverse the front passenger seat so it faces backwards then you wouldn't need to dismantle the seat by taking the backrest off

Can’t tell you how awesome it is to see you driving the small engine vehicles and camping in it - my first car was a 1.2 Daewoo Kalos, now driving a 1.4 Ford Khia, big fan of smaller engines. Japan do some great ones.

Hey Adam you need to make yourself a checklist of all the stuff you need for each camping trip so before you head out on a trip you won't forget anything.... lol , you always seem to forget something everytime you go on a trip 😂 Lovin your video's 👍😎

I once had a problem with high idle revs (actually high, and kind of revved when stopped, like i was blipping the accelerator when at rest - making me sound like a knob head). For me it was the air idle control valve. What you described sounds very similiar, so if the throttle thing doesn't fix it, look at the air idle control valve/motor.

The star disc lights up as soon as the sun sets. There’s a viewing platform you can see it from above. There is a steep walk from the village or a steep drive. Some nice walks nearby and believe it or not the national stone centre is worth a visit too which is nearby as well as Black Rocks

you doing it all wrong trust my if I cant sleep in my fiat punto which I do u neext help on how to d your and i`m just the person to tell u. first you need a 1. self inflatable air mattress vango . 2.push all drivers and passagner chair forward as far as they can go. 3. get a board to put under ur mattess has level. 4. put ur coolerbox behind the driver seat . and all the otehr just throw in

Huge amount of space with that front seat removed. With a bit of careful planning and another cut down wooden bed frame I reckon you can make it really cosy and not lose too much space. Can you get a roof box for it? Even the smallest of biscuit tins can hold the tastiest treats. 😊

Glad you had a good sleep, do they do a 3 door version of that car. As the seats normally slide forward and the back of the seat folds forward as well. Should fit in there. Keep them coming 😀.

Having it large in the tiniest of biscuit tins, absolutely buzzin man. Lovely looking area that even with the industrial gubbins & the 'green' turbines.. but what can ya do. That sky map is sweet too (& educational) but the last thing you want when looking at the night sky is loads of bloomin leds messing with your dark adapted vision haha but again, what can ya do.. make the most of it as you did.

Idle Air Control valve, (IAC) is a common problem on Kias' , take it off and spray it with WD or brake cleaner.
You can see if it operates ok when it is unbolted by looking inside it while you get someone to turn the ignition on and off, hope this helps.

I use my small Nissan Qasqai as a family car and a single person camping car, therefor removing removing my front passenger seat is not an option. I fold my front passenger seat back as far as possible. I use a hardboard 12 ply cut in 3 and held together by metal attachments holding both sides together. Gives me support. I also use wood slats to even up the bed. Hope this makes sense
kind of yeh, get what u mean, to be honest as it sits now with the seat bent forward is a very doable setup although i would like to fully rip it out

if you haven't seen his channel, look up "morts". He took all of the seats (obviously not drivers ;) out of a Skoda citygo (similar size car by the looks of it) and lived in it and drove it as far as Irbil in Iraq before coming back to UK. Totally doable in the biscuit tin!
yeh used to chat with him befoire he used to sub and comment on this channel in the early days, did he cook and such in the car i mostly just saw him sleping in it
@@wanderingwhere honestly I didn't watch all the videos but I think he had to at points, rain etc. Even with space I prefer to cook outside to avoid the mess and stink lol.
If you haven't seen it then the build video is pretty insightful and only 7 minutes, amazing how much storage space he gets under that false floor (though it is quite a well built DIY wood frame and floor that they make)
