You should make a video about why Phineas and Ferb should be hatted as a show. They never get into trouble, are always happy, and never pay for their consequences. No emotions, darkness, or anything. It's white wash, brain dead, garbage. It shows kids that you can do anything you want and nothing bad will ever happen. Very terrible message to be sending to children. He may have turned "evil" but the dude's an inspiration for not letting your past weigh you down~ (even though he makes -inators to get revenge but still; he's a well-off dude now with a decent life)
Some people use their past abuse to justify being just as abusive of a parent or as bad as a person. Heinz only used it to justify taking over the Tri-state Area, which is a surprisingly healthier alternative.
The beauty in it is he became a truly amazing parent himself instead of letting his own past destroy him. He took all that pain and transformed it into love and dedication to his own family. Pretty deep for a cartoon character.

@@williambrown4138 In Mojo's defense for before the incident, he was a normal fucking monkey then. The whole thing with chemical x was the professors fault for thinking an untamed animal would be a good lab assistant.
Well there is a theory that the only reason why he wasn't jailed was because OWCA needed his inators So Perry was there to scan the initors and keep him going
thats true, theres a song in the Show called Nemesis and before the song is played Doof recounts the happiest day of his life, which was when he found out he had a nemesis, Perry
likely the fact that he is literally a miracle due to the fact that neither of his parents were present at his birth, or the fact that his brother was praised while he, the eldest sibling, was neglected.
ᏰĪᏝᏝ ՇÎρɧᏋƦ Doof has always been exploited by OWCA. In the Phineas and Ferb 2nd dimension movie, it’s revealed that all agents have a camera in their hats that scans devices for later replication. All of Doofs devices are cataloged by OWCA so they can use them.
I love how you say "he didn't have much success in the arts either as he would lose competitions to baking soda volcanoes" so casually, like as you do as you do
He is definitely my inspiration in life. A great inventor, a loving son (even if his parents don't love him back), a good (sometimes) brother, a great friend (although he didnt have any), a hardworking guy (even if he fails almost at everything), and a loving dad to his daughter. He truly is my favorite animated character.
And then he turned good because he realized that his evil schemes will not make him happy in the end and finally he will become one of the most praised and famous inventors in the world. Not bad for someone with such a screwed-up past. The episode "This is your Backstory" also showcased that very well.
Magic Moments it just made me angry. Roger could’ve given it back to Doof. But instead he’s an entitled little brat and labels the toy, while smirking at his brothers devastated face. Screw you, Roger!
TimeBaby 28 true, but he could’ve been nice. His parents didn’t do anything about his decisions. He could’ve actually had a heart, but instead he’s the perfect plastic toy for his parents to play with.
@@pinkchampagne5528 Well, Roger could have been nice to Doof. There's one episode where Roger accidently ruined Doofenshmirtz's painting by spread some food all over it. He was mad at him but he was scot-free at the end. Later, Roger decided to fix the painting that he ruined it only that Doof is actually the one who destroyed his own painting. Well, proof that Roger is just him giving Doof a chance.
Wasnt there a small period of time that he tried to be a secret agent before becoming a villain? (He was technically classified as an ocelot because he was temporarily raised by them which made him qualified to join the owca) wasnt that a thing?
I guess there’s a deeper meaning here: No matter how much you fail no matter what life throws at you ... always keep trying because one day you might succeed
As a child with no mind of knowing family abuse (mental or physical), I thought Doof was a funny guy. Now growing up and learning everything, I saw Doof as a man who was abandoned by his family because he's seen as someone with lower popularity, skill, and action instead of being seen as a genius man who builds great inventions.
Man, this was amazing! I love how you sometimes directly quoted Heinz' narration while talking about his past, i just wish you had added the fact that he "Lost his girl to a boy with larger fingers" that was the funniest part. I think the only part of the backstory that's missing is how Heinz's mom would tell him bedtime stories about the Kinderlumper who would eat him for being bad or using the bathroom (despite the fact that, in reality the Kinderlumper is likely a Drusselsteinian Santa Claus) Also the fact that he had a mentor who wanted to SET THE SUN ON FIRE, or something.
@Ev Evenying Violin Gacha I don't remember which episode, it was an early one. Basically Heinz's backstory is that he used to be the aprentice of a supervillain that had the irrational dream to SET THE SUN ON FIRE until he was captured or something.
Bruh, out of everything that I’ve gone through, doof is the only good example of why you should keep going even if you’re lonely and suicidal. Looking back at your low points will make you feel powerful and strong. Mf doof should be depressed/suicidal/other mental illness but instead he’s striving to do what he wants to do (even though it’s a bit misguided)
You know seeing all this i can see why Dr.doof is evil as yeah abusive/neglectful parents can lead to stuff that's even worse then being a doofus evil guy
Well, you could say that Doofenschmirtz's story is imaginated, cause it's a TV show. But those parents really do exist in real life. Parent's who don't love their children. Parent's who disown their children, who have their favorite child. Those exist in real life. And some of those children don't survive.
I used to think he was just making it all up about his flash back memories but now seeing all the pieces together I realize he has the most miserable life than any human being ever had 💔😞💔
It’s like doof tries to be evil cause he knows that’s what people usually do after having a bad backstory. But he’s bad at it since he’s not actually evil he just thinks he’s supposed to be evil in that situation.
@@tourmelion9221 Didn't Megamind became a good guy as well? + barely even knew his actual parents? Yeah, he grew up in prison, and they teached him the wrong stuff, but besides that, seemed to be nice to megamind.
“What do you thing was his starting point for begin a super villain?” I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it was his birth, I mean seriously, if both parents flat out abandon a baby in a hospital on the same day the kid is born, you know that’s a bad omen.
Doof is the best cartoon dad ever to exist. Despite his shitty childhood, he was always supportive and encouraging for her daughter. He never vent out his anger on his daughter. And even in the camping trip episode, he gives his daughter more space after she told her and even after that, he come back to distract the bees to save her daughter.
Man this guys backstory is extremely sad He was neglected, lonely, bullied, abandoned, his parents only took him back to make him a nome, he was constantly in his brothers shadows, underrated, he was considered a disgrace to the family, he always failed when he tried something new, and he was sent away on purpose because his parents hated him Hell his name in German means “stupid in pain” Im surprised he’s the way he is now. He’s a great dad, doesn’t hate his ex, and he loves his parents even after everything He didn’t deserve parents like those
Something I like about his character is how in the Phineas and Ferb movie, his alternate version had basically the BEST childhood, and he only lost a toy as a child. And that’s his reasoning behind everything he’s done. And our version had probably the worst childhood, and yet he’s extremely empathetic, and he probably doesn’t even want to be evil or anything, it’s just a persona he’s made to cope with his childhood trauma. He loves his daughter Vanessa, and he tries to be the best father for her because he never had a loving father or mother. And honestly, his backstory shows how strong of a character he is. Honestly, it’s completely justified for him to want to commit evil acts on his brother. But he’s letting himself fail over and over again to Perry because he knows that revenge won’t make him feel better, and it’s his duty to end the cycle of abuse and sadness that plagued his family before he had Vanessa. He’s an AMAZING person.
I am so glad we're getting not only all the Phineas and Ferb episodes on Disney+, but we're getting a new Phineas and Ferb movie. I cannot wait. Great video with the anticipation for it Isaac.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wow. Doof’s childhood was tragic! Are we sure he’s the bad guy?!
I think there was only three good things in his life:
1. His Daughter
2. Agent P
3. The fact that he will become “Professor Time.”
Comic Fan 13 I know right?

Oh yeah! Well at least until he tried combining the two and ruined them in the process... :/
It’s still a very good point. :)
Sorry, "Professor Time"?
You forgot a flashback (only one I know of anyway).
The chick that left him for the whale
Lad even learned whale language just to get together with her again. The chick at the end of the episode is just like "We'll NEVER talk about this".
*Thwart me, Perry the Platypus*
Ah, that one episode where Perry gave the look of "Insulting whales? Really? I don't have time for this." and flew off on his jetpack, offending Dr. Doof since Perry didn't even try to stop him.
I just love how Dr. Doof started to chase Perry to try and get him to thwart his plans.
You also forgot the episode where they showed up perrys recording hat that scanned his inators that were remade by OWCA to help humanity.

One addition:
The divorce was only made for the various benefits it provides. The two actually still love one another, but keep this a secret for personal benefit.
It's all the convoluted reasons they pretend to be divorced

Potato Patato That’s Doof 2D. I think our Doof is actually divorced.
@@thefilmwatcher1302 nah, Doof said that he still uses Charlene's credit card when he bought the Mary McGuffin doll to Vanessa... Now why would Charlene allow Doof to use her own money then unless it is a conjugal account for both of them...

Also, have you ever wonder why Vanessa stopped trying to bust Doof to his mother for being evil?? Man, for a kids show, this is really depressing.
Also am I the only one who compares Doof to Waluigi?
Edit: How in the heck I got 307 likes?
Possibly.
Also, I may be the only one who genuinely hopes Waluigi can be rehabilitated.
I'm assuming cause people voicing waluigi in fan animations seem to give him a voice that sounds a lot like doof (well that's what I hear anyway). Which I honestly prefer to the charles martinet version sometimes. I still think Waluigi would be better off with a legit German accent in canon anyway. Kinda like the early mario party wario english VA, but not as deep.

Well, proof that Roger is just him giving Doof a chance.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz is the most tragic cartoon character ever. changed my mind.
Actually, while I know that animated movies might not count here, Jason Todd has a worse backstory.
The older I got while watching Phineas and Ferb, the more I found every bit of Doof’s backstory to be absurdly hilarious

Right.... jeez
True, but that was more in the present of the show, so i guess it didn't count.
Twice actually.
He joined OWCA after the end of the show, after he decided to give up evil
He's the only villain who have the right to destroy the world

I guess there’s a deeper meaning here:
No matter how much you fail no matter what life throws at you ... always keep trying because one day you might succeed
Treasure your family
Man, this was amazing! I love how you sometimes directly quoted Heinz' narration while talking about his past, i just wish you had added the fact that he "Lost his girl to a boy with larger fingers" that was the funniest part.
I think the only part of the backstory that's missing is how Heinz's mom would tell him bedtime stories about the Kinderlumper who would eat him for being bad or using the bathroom (despite the fact that, in reality the Kinderlumper is likely a Drusselsteinian Santa Claus)
Also the fact that he had a mentor who wanted to SET THE SUN ON FIRE, or something.
@Ev Evenying Violin Gacha
I don't remember which episode, it was an early one.
Basically Heinz's backstory is that he used to be the aprentice of a supervillain that had the irrational dream to SET THE SUN ON FIRE until he was captured or something.
No, you've got it wrong. He didn't want to set the sun on fire, he wanted to SET FIRE TO A BALL OF FIRE!!!!!!!!!
Why is it that Doof is the most relatable character from the show.

And even in the camping trip episode, he gives his daughter more space after she told her and even after that, he come back to distract the bees to save her daughter.
Man this guys backstory is extremely sad
He was neglected, lonely, bullied, abandoned, his parents only took him back to make him a nome, he was constantly in his brothers shadows, underrated, he was considered a disgrace to the family, he always failed when he tried something new, and he was sent away on purpose because his parents hated him
Hell his name in German means “stupid in pain”

I think Doof's parents neglecting, disownment, and being disowned again probably is what made him become evil.
I'm shocked he didn't kill them and Rodger
