It costs more to purchase all the equipment than it does to just purchase new batteries. If we send you our three batteries, can you get them charging again? And what would be the cost? These are for a Mavik Pro that was only used once, then sat for several years, draining the batteries so far that they won't accept a charge.
Not that we know of , the issue is the software required to read Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 BMS boards , we use TRB software which is unfortunately no longer available anymore until early 2024

@webuydronessa Awesome how much does you typically charge to repair 3 batteries (Yup all 3 of mine went dead as I didn't get to fly or do anything with the drone over COVID way back).
Wonderful. But please get rid of the incredibly annoying background music ! We are here to learn, not to be entertained. Imposition of background music makes it difficult to concentrate on the content.
Thanks for the guide. I have a battery pack that won't charge (16 flashes), I have it dismantled and when I check the voltage on the 3 cells, two of them are about 3.8 - 3.9 V, but the other one is zero. Is that one cell completely faulty, in that it's unlikely that it can be charged again?
Yes it does , keep an eye on the channel we will be doing each DJI battery separately going forward, and we even have a really quick and free solution for some DJI batteries coming up soon that we will share 😀
Will you be doing a video on the DJI Mini 2 battery ? im in the process of gathering up the tools needed to wake it back up again, software, adaptor board etc. and was thinking if you could upload a step by step video. thanks.
How much to ship you 3 batteries from the USA for this repair? Unless you know of a shop in the USA particularly the state of California near San Francisco.
Thanks for watching , the only way would be to replace the actual cells in the battery which is not always worth it. Your overall battery capacity has depleted , this happens over time.
We don't know of anyone in the states unfortunately, replacement cells can be bought on Aliexpress as far as we know , you just need to check the shipping details as battery cells cannot be flown in.
@@webuydronessa Battery housings. In the one video you said your clients get new battery cases after they're cut open. Where can a person get new platinum cases? Thx
Hey the crazy part bro is that they actually snap apart if you take the time to wedge a credit card edge in between the seams... There are also wires connected to each battery lever.
I just charged direct up to 12 volts then leave the battery for a few days this enables the remaining cells to self balance. If your mega lucky you can then remove the balance plug desolder the large red cable from the battery. Then short ground to the rst pad . Connect the balance plug and resolder the red cable. Then connect directly to the charger not the hub the battery will start in hibernation mode. It works maybe 20% of the time
I'm having trouble finding the GND pin on the DJI Mavic Pro battery electronic board, may I know which pin it is to connect to the DJI Bat Killer, because the smbus can't be read
You dont need to dremel the batteries open. The ones i have i opened with a butter knife and can 1000% reuse the case hardly being able to tell it was opened.
As many said before me…buy a new battery if not buy a lot more equipment than your new battery is worth , waste more of your time and if you lucky it might work…thanks
Awesome video and thanks @webuydronessa! Was super seeing the inside of the batteries and understanding them a little better. keep up the great video content! :) Ps - if a drone has been in someones cupboard for almost 2 years and not flown at all during that time - is there any hope for the batteries and 'saving' them? I suspect those batteries would be 'dead' by now and charging them would probably not help? perhaps I should recommend they get in touch with you for a visit to the 'battery doctor'? ;)
Ha, I didn't consider that. Yes, necessity is the mother of invention. I still wish I could revive my batteries. BTW, the video was good i was just shocked about the equipment needed to revive a battery. Anyway, i just got two from Amazon today so I'll probably be crashing my Mavic soon. Cheers
waiting for the easy part

Exactly. For the price of the Material I'd buy a new drone with a up-to-date camera
Hi, I used raspberry pi to clear pf and seal it again. It can power up the drone but will not charge, only led 1 is blinking.
Any alternative de bug board like adrunio or Raspberry pi and what software seen a few videos on UA-cam using those combination for mavic pro

@webuydronessa No unfortunately London United Kingdom.

Hey Tam, yes thats what it sounds like , you will properly find that last cell takes a charge but won't hold voltage.
Where can we purchase replacement battery cases?
Of you based in South Africa we normally carry stock

Really appreciate the comment , glad you like the content 👍
Quick and easy?

Does anyone do this service in new Zealand 😊 I have 3 which went in hibernation mode and i tried everything
