How Emily: Learns to transfer again

- So, I had a new car which I could drive but couldn't transfer or lift myself into.
It really set me back, I cried, screamed and got really angry, (sorry mum and dad).
After LOADS of encouragement and trying every way except using the kitchen sink, i've got there.
Differently abled people find themselves adapting and overcoming new challenges every single day, please, don't give up, you'll find a way to do anything you put your mind to, your way.

You are amazing. I saw you on ITV News and had to watch. What a great character. Such a great laugh. Nothing will stop you doing whatever you want. Keep on keeping on.
Thank you dean!! You are awesome
Love this Emily! Keep being awesome 💜💜 xx
Watching you smile and laugh your way through the transfer, is what it's all about. 🙌 For us working with the Chair Topper, it's the best acknowledgement we can get!
It really is an honour for us to have you feature our product in your video. Thank you!
That lift is brilliant
Emily it's so amazing to see your independence and determination as well as your giggle! I remember practising car transfers with you at pontarddulais comp! You should be so proud of your achievements. Very best wishes from your old physio xx
Oh my gosh!!!
Hello Jody.
How are you?
I never expected you to find my videos!
If you have any young people that you think could benefit from some of my videos PLEASE feel free to share.
AND, last but not least, thank you for your support and help in my younger years ❤️
Amazing positive attitude 💚💚💚
Thank you mark ❤️
Hi Emily. Your videos must be so helpful, in particular, to people who have recently become wheelchair users. Like you, I get into the car bottom first. I am lucky because I have a lot of upper body strength, so I don't need a transfer board. I have seen people who prefer the feet-first technique.
Hey Gordon!! Thank you so much for your kind comments. Keep being awesome
The joy of wheelchair cushions lol.
That chair topper is something I could've done with when I was driving. I dont drive now due to deterioration in my multiple health conditions. What car and chair do you have ?
How long have you been driving?
