(G)i-dle is pretty much unique in that world in being an almost 100% self-produced female kpop group, whose young leader, Yeon Soyeon, has a comprehensive vision coupled with the talent and drive to realize it. (For example, their most recent 'title track' MV, Super Lady, is the 61st all-time most expensive music video per Wikipedia, and the group members fronted half the production costs. That's putting money where your mouths are, literally.) I would not at all be surprised if Soyeon were to make a feature film someday. Well, , hey, you guys seem fun. Noticed you because of your BTS 'On' reaction, and checked in here for BP. Full disclosure: I wouldn't claim to be Army, though my daughter is and I have respect. And I wouldn't claim to be Blink, though I saw them in Atlanta and, again, I have respect. Seeing how you're producers, I'm going to point you at another kpop female group: (G)i-dle. (G)i-dle is pretty much unique in that world in being an almost 100% self-produced female kpop group, whose young leader, Yeon Soyeon, has a comprehensive vision coupled with the talent and drive to realize it. (For example, their most recent 'title track' MV, Super Lady, is the 61st all-time most expensive music video per Wikipedia, and the group members fronted half the production costs. That's putting money where your mouths are, literally.) I would not at all be surprised if Soyeon were to make a feature film someday. Anyway, I'd love to hear your take, and I'm going to suggest first an older but very complex video by (G)I-dle, 'Oh My God.' That's jumping into the deep end, but that's what we're here for, right? Blackpink has LOTS of great music. Kill This Love, Pink Venom and Boombayah are more hits. If you want to try something a little different from them Crazy Over You and Typa Girl are both great and both are all English.
