Such wonderful memories. Three times I stayed there in the 1960s. Actually, the Shell Bar was the place to be very late at night, and a round of golf on the 9 hole course was delightful. At low tide, you could walk over the causeway to Mid Mole Island, but had to get back before it was submerged. Regards to those who share memories.
Dear Craig, hope you are well. Thank you. I will return to the islands to attempt finding a lost mini sub. If I get the chance I will visit the other lost resorts!! Alles beste, Henning
Your Grandfather has the same name as Hitler's father... How about that.... the name Adolf is all but unused or atleast very uncommonly selected as a birth name these days... to my knowledge anyway... do you know anybody in Germany that is named Adolf? I don't know anybody named Adolf..... I never read about anybody named Adolf other than Hitler...... haha.... just a funny thought that came at random. In any case, this is a beautiful setting, it's nice to see you reminisce over good times shared with your loved ones, and I'm sorry to see the destruction 'mother nature' has left in its wake upon one of the places you were fond of as a youth. I look forward to a follow up should you find the submarine and piece of plane you are searching for. I wouldn't go into that water if you paid me.... but that's me... Do you do any out of vessel diving in that area? Are there lots of Great whites, and Tigers? and as if that weren't enough to look out for, I'm pretty sure Saltwater Crocs inhabit the area as well..... about a year ago I spent an entire evening reading through shark attack reports and archives and the bulk of them occurred on Australia's east coast.... brutal reports and accounts.... the way articles were written in the 20's was way different than the way they are written now.... they didn't spare any details in reports published in Newspapers from the 20's and people were getting ripped in half left and right by sharks in Australia all the time.... You seem like a pretty intelligent guy and I would imagine you are also fairly inquisitive and informed by a matter of what you do in your profession regardless, so you probably have all of those factors considered before you perform a search...but just in case you don't.... I figured I'd mention that....for next time.... because this video is now about a week old and you might already be..... fish meal........ but I doubt it. otherwise, I purchased your book; I am looking forward to reading through it despite not having much insight or understanding of freemasonry and or Nazi related organizations of the post ww2 era you have piqued my interest and I'm sure it's fully worth the price of purchase. Until next time; take care, -Chuck-
Hello Chuck! Yes Alois was from my mothers side and he told me quite a few stories from WW2. In regards to the diving, I am also hesitant as I encountered a Great White in 2012 and was so shaken by that I have not dived since. I now use drones. The mini sub I am looking for is in shark infested waters unfortunately! Great you bought the little book on Nazi Freemasonry!! All the best, Klovekorn the Relic Hunter
Great video... The view is really something else
Thank you Magnus!
