Blue Shark Fishing with The Fish Locker - Massive 100lb+ Sharks!

Hey everybody! Hope you’re having a great week - welcome back to the channel! Firstly thanks for the likes and comments on our most recent bass film, we really appreciate it as we’re getting into the swing of putting these videos together.
This time round we’re back out in the salt targeting some real monsters with ‪@TheFishLocker‬ - searching for our first Blue Sharks out on Anglo Dawn (A fantastic charter boat based out of Falmouth, Cornwall).
The aim of the day was simple, try and catch the biggest fish we’ve ever caught and have an awesome day out on the water with a couple of great mates. It’s fair to say we did just that! We started off chasing packs of birds and dolphins in the search of a bonus Bluefin Tuna before heading out to the sharking grounds. The wildlife was just incredible, Porpoises, Dolphins and Minke Whales were everywhere!
First things first we caught fresh bait before getting the rods out. It was completely new to us, using water bottles as floats and dealing with heavy spinning setups, we could tell we were in for something special if we were to hook something! This was definitely the case as I was in first to a hard fighting shark that gave me a right runaround. We were both mindblown when that fish hit the water! Up next was Sam with his first Blue and that was an epic battle too!
We went on to have an action-packed day as you’ll see from the video with Sam landing a proper unit after a crazy battle! John also landed a couple of lovely sharks too which was great. Our arms are still tired from a ridiculous day out on the water but what an experience to see these creatures up close. So different to what we’re used to!
