Just went 8-0-12 in Emerald agianst a trist mid with this build, but I cooked with the 2% MS shard. After boots I was the ranged champion. Trist cant lane because I walk her down. Grasp procs without casting E into TRIST! Being the fastest ninja feels like the way.

Have a suggestion, getting dark seal with ionian boots, very gold efficient item, gives shen more dmg for q's and helps you snowball even harder early game. try it out

I'd been running first back Lucidity boots on Shen every game for a while now and it feels incredible. Even though I do it each game I still get shocked how much R CD it saves every time

Deadmans Dmg can be priced like AD. To calculate the cost effectivness its more like a on-hit dmg effect and those are much cheaper then AD cause they dont scale with crit and spells.

i started playing shen support with a lot of funky items (100% inspired on you, of course, master petu) and i gotta say. a lot of fun. im not a ranked player, i just don't have the energy or time for that, but having fun is a must, and teleporting from botlane to be mean to the enemy jungler? 10/10.

Titanic is like Shojin for a lot of champions. It looks perfect for a champion, but that champion already had so many higher priority items that Titanic never had a chance to fit in one of those 6 slots.

Petu , now that you reached chalanger i would like to make a proposal , i would like to see you play Elden ring. That might sound strange , but i love the comentary that you provide in your videos and i would like to see you playing other games.(i also love soulsborne games)
Another build that I've been using (as shen support) is the enchanter build with moonstone and redemption. It works better than it should, especially when Im behind in the game, because the items are cheap.

You mentioned building hollow radiance in every game and against AD matchups bami's first and then dead mans. Would you still build hollow radiance for the waveclear (or some other reason?) even against a full AD team? Or would you turn the bamis into a sunfire? Or would you even build bamis and maybe go for something else, like a chain vest + tiamat (into titanic)? This is very specific and nitpicky, but I notice you didn't mention such a situation in the video.
Yeah, I was also wondering about that, when I face full ad enemy team, i tend to go titanic hydra instead of hollow radiance, to still have waveclear.

@xPetu What's your opinion on Anathema's? Is there ever a reason to build during the laning phase?
Petu usually builds it when the enemy has a 1 AP, 4 AD comp (Usually against Evelynn from his past videos) so that he does not have to waste gold on more MR and can focus on building Armor.
The core part of this build is the 99% tilt resistance that you must get every game

Have you tried Experimental Hexplate as a third item? I think the movement speed it grants is really underrated. I find when I ult, the enemy team just runs away and it's hard to follow up unless I have DMP and Experimental Hexplate. The ultimate haste is also ok, but the attack speed feels like a wasted stat.

I KNEW IT, ice gaunt. was nice but dead mans ia way better for shen, having a mini ghost always active it'a huge for a champ like Shen and usually you taunt with your team, very hard to not get a kill in that case, you really don't care about solo slows to do 1v1 and in team it's overkill, yes the AH on ice gaunt. is nice but you still got what you need to do stuff, this build (First 3 items, boots and the other two) gives everything shen needs: wavecelar, hp, ar, mr, ah, ms
And i live the 4 item option, you can pick the supportive one or the "i need make a big play so the shield and tenacity will help", also good if you have a bounty, overall, 10/10!
Dead Man's Plate is what I use in almost all situations. The speed is too good, it's 2 runes put together - important ones I might add.
Have been doing Tank T.F. support for a while. I was picking up the Feather Boots for Slow Resistance - too many Sennas & Ashes for my liking & so on.
Either stun/slow duration reduction through Tenacity Boots or best if you just get Greaves for Dewarding & for proccing your passive more. Whilst Dead Man's Plate just buffs you on offence & defence too! Feels too good to not get it 2nd or 3rd.
1 frame is HUGE. It can be super decisive on a crucial TF

Hey Petu i have been slowly climbing to masters this season with your trusty videos always by my side! I didn't like titanic playstyle and have been going bami into frozen gauntlet almost every game. Reason being that it's cheap, sheen passive, every stat you want and the slow allows you to dictate fights and get more q dragthroughs. I then build sundered if into a lot of melee champs or steraks if vs more ranged/cc. I usually only finish hollow if i need mr or if i am behind. I did always like deadmans though, i will see where i can fit it in. I know it's a bit more selfish build but what do you think of it?
Sounds like a solid build. I think Iceborn and Deadmans compete for the same item slot, choose the one you find better for you.

5:49 it is good that you mention Zilean. I am a support main and ocasionally play him. Once you started talking about slows and slow resists I was thinking about running this item on Zilean. You know there are two routes on building Zilean support, either into damage dealer or full utility and this could kind of work.
Like, how good would this be on ranged champions. Maybe even running it on an ADc against heavy AD team...

I think, hydra is situational, when i can dominate a match i pick hydra and go ahead, but when I see that y have enough dmg output in my team i switch to tank mode, in both ways shen does a lot of dmg, the difference is what do you need, more durability and progressive dmg or burst, thats the decision of each game.
Petu can you make a match up tier list for shen? Some times i wanna pick it but i see a champion that i dont really sure if shen is good against him or not

make sure you take titanic off of the mobafire guide mr. mixed signals
Would you also go for ignite and flash for toplane matchups? Mid gives you so much freem do roam the map but I think that in top you got really punished for picking ignite. You literally need to guarentee to stomp your lane otherwise the enemy champion will simply gain gold advantage taking your tower when you ult

it's simple, buy hydra after, third item, u got hollow radiance for the wave clear sure, but what is a little extra op asf dmg gonna do? Just make you stronger lol, hollow radiance is nice for waveclear, so is titanic hydra, hollow radiance isn't so nice for fighting, though titanic hydra is :) Plus an extra auto to complete shen combos faster is always nice
