I can relate with every single lesson in this piece. From losing "friends" to letting go of my control to God, to learning to be quiet, to trusting God to fight my battles, to the shift in my career. I’m right there with you! I’ve also had a rough 2023 with a lot of new complicated health issues! The hardest part is that some people just don’t understand these health issues and how they affect me! I too stopped myself one day while having a major anxiety attack and realized that I had stopped letting God in my life! I had stopped journaling, reading his word, and writing 3 positive things that happened each day! I sat and prayed and said, I’m giving everything to God, cuz he’s the one that guides us through every day! I instantly felt his presence and went straight to my Bible and read his words and I felt like a huge weight was lifted off me! I haven’t stopped since and 2024 I feel is going to be a good year for me and I’m going to make sure I continue doing what he wants me to do!

For me, 2023 was a year of lessons. I learned so much and that's kind of why out of every year, I am ready to leave this one in the past. I always look forward to every new year but this one in particular feels different. I woke up more refreshed today than I have in years. Happy New Year! 🥳🥳🥳
