I made a garbodor win the beauty contest. It was worth it.

It was able to learn two crappy beauty moves, so I taught it those two moves and shoved a bunch of beauty pokeblocks down its face.

I remember having an Animatronic Pikachu plush as a kid...and when it ran out of battery so when it spoke. all I heard was Satan calling down at me~
Same thing happened to me, but my very religious grandmother was there to witness it. This was during the time when a few churches were calling pokemon satanic so this was just icing on the cake. So she tried to make me throw it in the trash, but fuck that, you can't make a kid throw away his pikachu toy. So I punched in her in the face and rode away into the sunset on my 3-wheeler with my pikachu. The rest is history.

OMG!! No one ever mentions Pokeman Pinball! I am shocked its your favorite spin off game. I am 47 yrs old and my now adult kids along, with my husband, loved everything Pokeman! They each played the main games along with Stadium, Snap and we even had Hey You, Pikachu. While I learned all of the first 151 Pokeman and watched a lot of the anime as well as game play on the tv, I could not get into playing the main games. BUT, I had an original Gameboy and I bought myself Pokeman Pinball and I absolutely loved it!! Im sure its tucked in the spare room along with all of our other old games. Ill have to dig it out one of these days! Thank you for including it on your list! :)

***** I loved that ranger games when I was little. sadly I lost my Pokemon D's games when I moved. I also loves co quest but I lost that to. I am hoping that they might make another ranger game.
***** but enough people played them for both series to have multiple sequels. a lot less obscure than some of the games she did have on her list for sure

This video was really fun! I liked seeing lots of smaller topics covered like this, and it made me want to go back to Pokemon Contests in ORAS after not having done anything with them since my original Ruby in 2003.
Also seriously those Egg Retrieval quests in MH make me want to cry.
I think Pokemon contests would be more popular if you could get around the game by doing them them instead of the gyms. I'm not saying to replace the gyms obviously but you could choose whether you want to be a battler or a contestant (or both) as you play through story.
And if they were more like they were in the anime.
Better yet, let them level up via contests as well! So they can learn new moves and stuff

I just found your channel this week so I spent march break... Righting an essay, so crap, But I did manage to watch half your videos and your frickin' amazing. You like Pokémon despite it not being "cool" and your not afraid to show it. Even though you have anxiety you don't let it stop you from making videos. And to top it all off you have ADD like me ( or I have ADD like you since I'm only 15 and your older). You're an awesome person and keep up the great work.

I wonder if I'm the only one who DOESN'T like keeping figurines, toys, or any kind of merchandise in their boxes. I much rather have them out just I can see how nice and cool it is, and keeping it in a box is just lame. Yeah I know it stays in mint condition that way, but I don't care, I just like actually being able to see and touch the merch I buy. Besides it's mine now when I buy it and I NEVER plan on selling any of my merchandise, cause I much rather just keep it.
Lily Tran that's cool, do you mean the small figurines of the starters. Cause I just bought figurines for the Treecko line from Barnes and Noble and they were in a black box. It's not that long to me
Lily Tran yeah I've seen plenty of those single pack starters of Mudkip, Torchic, Snivy, and even Pikachu in Walmart. Though strangely enough, at the Barnes and Noble in my area, the Treecko line is one of the only set of starter figurines I see, I do see others like the Chickorita line, and there are still plenty of single packs there, but I've never see full evolution line packs for the Torchic and Mudkip lines, kind of strange. Though it's probably just a thing for the Barnes and Noble in my area. I live California, in case you're wondering.

I absol-utely love Pinball RS, Snap and Rumble! Something about them just lead me to spending hours on those games. I think it's also worth noting I played Pinball RS and Snap a long time after they came out and still loved them to death!
some of your collect brings me back to the past XD idk why or if i'm the only one or it was just because i was a kid but 1st gen days of pokemon had like a different vibe to it than it does now

Pokemon puzzle league was a lot of fun too. Especially the circular stage where the blocks would be piled off screen and only constantly forming combos would prevent a loss.

I really enjoyed Pokemon Conquest! It's my most played game yet and I've tracked 125h on the 3ds alone, even though I spent a lot on my DS, too.
The music and atmosphere is great, and it spurred me into trying out the Samurai Warriors followed the by the Dynasty Warriors franchises!

Favorite Spin-Off is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. Hands down.
I can see the appeal of having sealed comic books and the like, but I think keeping the music box sealed is a huge waste. The box doesn't allow you to see the inside of it, so you may as well just be displaying an empty box, and it doesn't even have any cool artwork or anything on it.
When you put the clip of monster hunter in, it reminded me of Erza Scarlett from Fairy Tail.
My favorite spinoff game is Pokemon Puzzle League. I wish they did an updated version of it. One that would take into consideration of typing to determine the garbage to throw over to the opponent.
I once did a Pokémon Contest with Blaziken! It even Mega Evolved to wow the crowd!
Tamashi, I'm disappointed that you've never played the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. I highly recommend playing Blue Rescue Team and then Explorers of Sky. The story is surprisingly good and deep. It'll even leave you emotional at the end. (While the new game Gates to Infinity has a decent story, the gameplay is weak compared to the regular DS Mystery Dungeon games)
I want to hear your opinions about the Mystery Dungeon games once you beat them. They're my favorite Pokemon spin-off games.

Jake Tecchio Fatal Frame isn't really an on rails FPS like Snap though so I wasn't sure it applied.

I have the mew as well but when I was younger I broke a part of the tail to where it doesn't fully stand up

I too have fond memories of Hey You Pikachu. I admit I haven't gone back to it since I was a kid, and I kinda don't want to. I don't wanna face the truth. Also kinda don't want my nostalgia to die off. It was the first game I recall playing, it was either that or tetris. But Hey You Pikachu will always have a special place in my heart. Might be my favorite game on nostalgia alone.
i really like your collection of Pokemon stuff. i really like plushes myself, i have a few Pokemon ones as well as some from other anime. if i had more money, i would buy up all the awesome Pokemon plushes we sell at my job (i work at a Toys R Us) and i would love every single one of them

For spinoffs pokemon pinball and pokemon xd were my favorites.
Never got to play hey you pikachu but snap is one of my favorite non traditional pokemon games. The rescue team series is good too, well at least red and blue.

You're totally right about the contest stuff
I just started contests on my brother's game ( I don't have a 3DS) and won coolness with my Minun, really good way to use the less used pokemon. I've never had a minun before, I always considered them a wasted and figure it'd be a good idea to catch one for a cute contest. Soon as I saw it's moves though I turned it right to coolness. Really nice that they kept contests like they where.
As a kid I used to love contests, even though I didn't understand what was really happening. All I knew was that the hearts were good and that other pokemon could take them away or make me not do my move. I thought everything was random and even though I have the gameboy version in my gameboy right now, I lost my charger. It's nice understanding things I didn't understand before..

How about a top 5-10 on the best Pokemon for Contests?
I would suggest playing the PMD and Ranger franchises. They're really good and PMD: Explorers of Sky is definitely the Platinum of spin-offs (Platinum was said by GF back in the day to be the pinnacle of Pokémon games up to that point.)
Since Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers didn't show up as one of the pokemon spin-off games you like, I'm going to take a guess and say that you've never played it before. It's a FANTASTIC game, and you should really give it a try. :) (There are technically 3 games with the Explorers title, but I would suggest getting Sky, as it has more content than Time or Darkness.)
I think it would be cool if they added a hey you pikachu type thing to the next main series Pokemon games.
My first game was some Tony Hawk game for the GBC, and my second was Pokemon Gold. For me, all I did in Pokemon gold was travel between saffron and goldenrod, since my mom beat the game, and I really didn't know what to do. Once I did, I went to go play again, and the save data was swept. Gold ol' Gold and Silver save data.
Did your complete Pokémon Red in box cost any where near one hundred dollars, because that is cheapest I found Pokémon Green on eBay three years ago.( the seller sent me a message and a bunch of base set Pokémon cards, which pretty cool). It was also the last Pokémon Green game he was selling.

I personally wish the Pokeblock minigame was optional in ORAS. It was what made making Pokeblocks fun for me in the originals. Nothing as satisfying as the "ving!" sound of a double circle. :D
