Love your channel !!!! Im about to do the Rio Dulce to the Caribbean Sea 42 km in Guatemala . Your videos are very instructive and gave me great inspiration. Im also Canadian but have been paddling at lake Atitlan Guatemala for the last 3 months .
Thanks for checking out my channel and for the kind comment! Wow, sounds like you have a big adventure ahead and what a beautiful place to be. Have a beautiful and safe time!
I was thinkning of towing an empty paddleboard with a inflateable kayak as a backup. I am kayaking with a person with some mobilty issues. Would this be a viable safety plan?
@@PaddleAdventurer yes. If I do get a catastrophic leak, the person with me will now have a problem with returning to shore due to her condition. Having the paddle board along side me will help
@@cameranmanner4701 This could work as a back-up. You're much better off paddling with something you trust and be sure to wear a PFD. If you're concerned you can also stick close to shore. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks for these great paddling tips, Marybeth.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad the videos are helpful.
You always have such great tips and safety videos for paddle boarding!
Thanks so much, Sophie!
Great tips, especially strapped to the other person's paddle.
Thanks for watching and capturing the tow in action!

Are you looking to tow an inflatable paddle board as a back up for yourself? Are you worried your kayak will get a hole and leak?

Is your friend paddling? If so, what are they using and are you also towing them?
@@PaddleAdventurer no the paddle board is back up only
