Stayed st the Flamingo snd could hear Big Elvis's voice coming out of the Barbary Coast Casino. One of the BEST "Elvis" voices I'd ever heard. Would alwsys go to his shows. It DID NOT mstter his size. He was great!
I have seen Pete several times at the Barbary Coast, which had three different owners during his run there. That says a lot about him. He later moved to Harrah’s and a remained popular afternoon show.
shame to see a lot of these comments being so cruel. Pete seems to be a wonderful guy who's just living out his best life and sharing his talent with the world, and i applaud him for that.
No tribute artist will ever capture the essence of elvis no matter how good he is, because you would have to have the DNA of elvis to get the true essence, so if Pete has that, and I hope he does, than hope springs eternal.
