    Contessa 32, encapsulated lead fin keel , fast and capable. Perhaps the greatest 32 ever designed.

      @Philip Gregory ever owned a contessa 32 ? Everyone has heard of them just because they are the real deal. Loved by everyone who ever owned one. Find an owner with anything bad to say about them . I miss my peregrinegrace a lot and often.

    I like that keel design on the Hallberg , going all the way to the rudder. (Not a sailer yet, so forgot what that’s called) - but seems like it’d provide a lot more protection to keep rudder from getting hit and damaged.

    What about the Allegro 30? Similar lines to the vagabond 31 but much lighter displacement and less draft. Also much older so perhaps cheaper?

      Great boat for sure! They are quite rare to find though... But if you find one in good shape i'll say go for it :)

      @@SailingMalou Yes and there are currently two Vagabond 31 boats for sale, one for 190k kroner and the other for 250k. Also 3 Hallberg Rassy Monsun 31 between 185k and 225k so reasonably priced imo. Nice to see that such excellent classic boats are still available.

    Love the video, you just got a new sub 😊 I'm really working to buy a boat to live in and see the world, I have a question what kind of papers do you need to sail one and how long to get them? My ideia is fly to Sweden buy one and sail it back to Portugal on a learning curve , then maybe do the Mediterranean to gain experience before set out in big Cross

    If anything else fails and you need to make money you could always become a yacht broker, you are very good a selling sailing boats I think.

    What are your thoughts on maxi 100 ps? Is it a motorsailer? As in, needs engine power even under sails?

      Thats a very nice and comfortable boat! Its not a motorsailor, and you can sail it without engine no problem :)

      @@SailingMalou I am looking at a listing that looks quite promising and broker too says the yacht is in amazing condition but for some reason he seems hesitant in calling the boat a Bluewater sailer. He keeps insisting that it's for coastal cruising only near the port of its current location. Do you think it might be cause the boat has structural issues? Is maxi 100 ps Bluewater capable otherwise? Thanks for ur help.

      @@SailingMalou thanks. It seems then that the boat has structural issues. Well at least the good thing is that the broker is not shoving a lemon onto me and is politely steering me away from that boat while also keeping his own business interests in mind.

    Vagabond 31 amazing sailing ⛵, I really like it, very difficult to find in USA 🇺🇸 to buy. I don't want to fly to Sweden and buy .I m looking in USA 🇺🇸 only to buy .
    I like it all the boats made in Sweden 🇸🇪, thay are great sailboats very strong built and beautiful classic design 👌
    I m interested to cross Cape Horn .
    This is my interest. I like it only full keel ,no another boats designed about budget no more ,than $ 30,000 dollars.

    Amazing video Gustav as always...Can you share any transportation companies for sailing boats up to 10m long and 3m width I am looking into ibuying boat in Sweden and import to Croatia
    Do you reccomend transport by sea or by road so far I got in touch with few persons but they charge for transport 6000Eur and that is out of my budget

      Very nice and capable boat! And it can deffinately cross bigger oceans aswell :)
      Very popular though. So hard to find for a good price...

      @@SailingMalou Yeah sure is! It goes for around 280-350k.
      I found one for 150, it was a renovation object. Didn’t had time to blink before it was sold.
      But non the less my dream boat.
