thank you so much!! i have watched so many different videos trying to find a contract/invoicing service that was ACTUALLY free instead of *supposedly* free like all of these different UA-camrs keep trying to advertise on their channels. Obviously they are just trying to make money off of people subscribing to those services. Anyways, you actually delivered and I'm very grateful for this video!! Thank you so much again!!
Absolutely! I'm here to help. Another one I have since discovered that I LOVE is through weareindy.com/. A free plan gives you 2 free contracts, but unlimited contracts are $4.50 a month. But overall, I think the freelancer's union contract is solid.
I heard of the Freelancers Union! They are pretty cool! I signed up with them about a year ago... Quick question... I want to sell my VA services on my website. How will I put the contract on my website? Or, should I just do a Skype chat with a client and then send them the contract? I am new to this as you can tell. Lol
Great questions! I recommend that your refrain from posting you contract on your website. Instead, you'll want to hop on a call with a potential client to do the informal interview. On the call is where most tell potential clients about their rates, hours of operation, and if the client agrees to move forward, send them the contract for signature. Hope that helps!
It looks like this free contract creator is now on fiverr and only allows 1 client to add before it asks you to upgrade to unlimited. It also does not allow you to edit the 1 client you add. Do you know of any other resources that offer free contract creation like this one?
How weird!! Seems like Freelancer's U / Fiverr has made changes. Check out this resource - I like Indy's contracts even more. ua-cam.com/video/iZ3e_q_WhB4/v-deo.html
Hi Sophie! These contracts are a standard service agreement that can be used globally. Although it has not been vetted for any specific local regulations in your country. To be super sure, it’s always good to check with a lawyer ⚡️
I am a first time freelancer and I was hired by a company as an assistant, they sent me a contract already but may I ask if it's necessary as well for me to create my own contract? and then send it to them? or the company's contract is already enough?
Thanks a lot for this Erin! I'm just trying to start my freelancing journey and this is exactly what I needed.
You're so welcome!
Just subbed. Wow great video. Thank you.

Try Weareindy.com - not free but VERY cost effective.
Awesome tool thank you for sharing:-)
Hi! When I go through the prompts to create my contract, it is asking for a Tax ID when adding a new client. Can you advise on this?

The company's contract is definitely sufficient, use theirs!
@@ErinBooth thank you so much for answering my question! 🥺❤️
Can i use this contract in india also?
Yes
this is only useful for Americans
This was designed for world-wide access (I've confirmed with Freelancer's Union), but definitely look into country-specific terms.
