    Hi Erin! Quick question- you mentioned several times in the video that you are giving scripts in the next section, but I didn’t see them. Are you providing scripts?
    This video is very informative and super helpful! I’ve seen many people recommend using LinkedIn to find leads fora long time but this is the first time I’ve looked more into it. Thanks again!

    Hi Erin,
    I am super excited to connect with you. I just watched your discussion or better put, your interview with Sadiq, very encouraging to hear your success story. It's very encouraging, thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for sharing your video and for the timely advice you've given! You spelled out why it's difficult for some job seekers to find work and for employers to find clients on LinkedIn. They don't know how to work the algorithm! I will share this video with undergraduate students at my alma mater to give them a little leverage in the scary post-grad job market. And I will utilize these tips myself.

    What if I am looking for construction contractors to work with. Can I send them direct message and introduce myself etc. Do I need to wait until they will accept friend invitation? :)

      You don;t need to wait, you can send them messages to introduce yourself!

    Hey Erin, quick question. I do not have much employment history due to leaving the workforce to stay home with my daughter. Should I look into being a va for a company before I start my own business? Thank you for your very helpful videos! You rock!

    The thing is if you wrote a pitch in the comment section of the job poster, instead of the usual "I'm interested" and used what you suggested in the video - other people (your competitors) may see that and use your method and suddenly your pitch doesn't stand out among the comments anymore. This is especially true if you are one of the first people to apply for the job, and other people follow your lead like sheep. We can't give away the sauce like this, so if that's the case, how could you make it more effective and more stealthy?

    • @ErinBooth

      Pitch broadly, move to inbox w/ more details, get them on the phone with full review of your company

    Hi Erin! Helpful video and inspiring - I would love to use LinkedIn but I have one concern - I work full time as an engineer. It is my primary job and doing VA work is a side hustle I enjoy. Maybe in the future I’ll flip full time, but I’m content for now. I want to use LinkedIn to get more clients but I worry what my coworkers and supervisors, that are on my network from my main gig, will think. Would you have any advice toward this?

    • @ErinBooth
      @ErinBooth  2 роки тому

      Hi Alyssa! This is a common question and can be a tricky one - namely if your company frowns upon freelance work. I suggest keeping your profile aligned with your FT job as an engineer. Then, add details under the work section about your virtual assistant work. So long as they VA keywords are associated with your profile, people searching for these phrases will still find your profile.

    How do you bill your clients once you find your ideal client? What software and invoice tool do you use? Thank you

    • @ErinBooth
      @ErinBooth  2 роки тому +2

      I bill flat, monthly rates based for my services. There are many invoicing tools you can use like Paypal, Stripe, Venmo. I ask all my clients to pay me via direct deposit, right into my bank account, but this only works well because they use me consistently.

    • @jonjon2645
      @jonjon2645 2 роки тому +1

      @@ErinBooth Thanks for sharing, what do you suggest for someone starting out, do I ask clients to pay half up front and the remainder on delivery? I would love to get to a point where my clients use me consistently and I can bill them monthly.
