Vw/Audi has some great transmissions. The 5 speed manual in my 99 Passat has handled hundreds and hundreds of k04 turbo launches. Has 165k miles and still shifts like new. This is the best manual transmission I’ve ever owned as far as durability
Get out on the street with it. If I had the option of dsg tune vs ecu tune I pick dsg every time. Makes the car so much more fun to drive. Lightning shifts, no auto up/down shift, gear display on hud, etc.
Usually a muffler/backbox delete does the trick, and more volume without any drone. Please don’t do a resonator delete, unbearable amounts of drone. Could get a sports cat, for like stage 1+

The drive home was fun - the DSG tune is a huge improvement!
I’m just wondering mate when you took the read did you take the read directly connected to the gearbox or could you take the read from the OBD port?

When you get a stage 1 tune, do they do anything with your exhaust (to make it louder )
