Chase Young would better than over 35 current Bears player and probably second or third best player on both sides of the line. My only concern would be injury history with knee and neck. If you could get Young for a day 3 pick that would be an easy... Yes. There are countless of bad trades and personal decisions that Poles has made with worse than trading for someone like Young.

I say we keep our first rounders are Carolina Pick and our second Rounders , trade a third in this next draft to package with the first and move up to take the best pass rusher , then with the Carolina pick take o line or d tackle then with the second round take another safety cornerback hybrid . then we have plenty of money to add a top-notch player for either D tackle or o line

I don’t think the Bears can afford the cap hit for Crosby, unless you concede you’re letting Gordon and Brisker walk. So to me you have to add that to the draft capital you’d sacrifice. The true cost then looks like a #1, a second rounder, and Gordon and Brisker (although a year from now). Too costly.

I say this. The Kansas City Chiefs has been winning Super Bowl more because of the defense. Mahomes hasn’t had the protection but that defense is top notch. We just need the O-line to play above average because we have a Qb that can make it happen. If we can trade for a defensive line player doesn’t have to be a superstar player but sure up this defense and we are good. Last time we had Trubisky and now we have Caleb and even with Trubisky we made the playoffs when the bears traded for Mack. So let’s sure up the defense because we have a better offense than we probably ever had before
