Yeah true, for me Naruto's plot went downhill when the 4th Great Ninja war started. Yes there was cool fights but the plot felt bland and the power system had changed dramatically to the point the fights became to simple yet flashy, so it felt like it went from cool tactics to simple thoughtless overpowering at will. For me Naruto's storyline had peaked until Pain's assault on the Hidden Leaf. But don't get me wrong, there was indeed really cool af fights after that including in the great war, but the quality of the plot had changed by then.
My favorite part of this scene is that Obito just showed up. There is quite literally nothing anyone can do to stop him from popping up in the Leaf Village and causing chaos.
And that is a "plot hole", 'cause obito can literally enter the leaf without being detected (first he would not be touching the sensing barrier and second he is from the leaf village so there is no enemy for them to feel). Obito could literally just teleport there mid night/early hours and massacre the entire village without anybody even noticing it. That plot hole could be explained with "he still loves the leaf" but then again he sent PAIN to the leaf to catch the nine tails knowing really well what would happen 💀. If you say "no shot he can just massacre the whole leaf alone" just remember he massacred the strongest clan before they even notice what was happening. Also, that was the police force that had sharingan and were always on guard, imagine the other clans...
Am I the only one who noticed Obito reacted to Naruto's attack in a way that said, "ah, Minato sensei taught you well with your little chat, didn't he, Naruto?" It felt so weird how Obito was immediately able to recognize that Naruto learned who Minato was in a matter of seconds.

I still think people don’t realize Obito is final villain strong even with just one of his Mangekyou Sharingan and that eye is the most OP Mangekyou in the show even it’s genjutsu was on another level controlling perfect Jinchuriki

I mean he’s done it with one hand even when he was 13 in part 1. In the first fight with Sasuke at the final valley he had the nine tails 1 tail cloak he did it with one hand. I think he’s just used to doing it with two hands and it’s more of a habit
The canon reason why naruto couldn’t do it with one hand was because of his connection with kurama, or rather lack of connection. The 9 tails still wants to take over at this point in the story, and sabotages Naruto’s chakra control. You see later down the story when kurama and naruto ain’t beefin, that he can perform (most) rasemgans with one hand.
It’s worth noting however that Kisame saw Obito’s sharingan before he showed his face. Kisame could have been looking at whatever image Obito wanted him to see.

Though I agree it feels a bit forced. I would like her at least to be as stern with Saskue if not more so than she was with Naruto. By coming to a realization of the scope of his actions. Her offering to kill Sasuke, in my opinion, is very disingenuous. Due to the fact that it's not something in her power or ability to do. He was planning to use him as a replacement for Nagato. He needed someone else to revive Madara, as well as be the spark of the Infinite Tsyukiomi plan. Not to mention running out if Akatsuki members. Sasuke did do most of the job (capturing part of the 8 Tails, getting rid of Kabuto, bringing back half the 9 tails through Minato, etc), albeit most wasn’t intentional (or necessary). Overall, he needed someone to carry the Regganan so the God Tree could sprout faster and then all he or Madara would need to do is become a 10 tails jinchuriki, Infinite Tsukiyomi, and bam! But this was foiled, and Obito didn’t have enough chakra on his own, and didn’t want to risk dying before seeing his dream come true, so he had deviated from Madaras plan (or rather plan B by late war arc).
What confuses me is why he didn't try to get him on board the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan. Itachi's situation is the prime example of what was wrong with the shinobi world,you would think he'd use that to convince him just as he did with Nagato.

Not to mention the numerous covert actions by the anbu black that are not always in the interest of village security but borderline terrorist/independent actor. They were willing to broker peace with Orichimaru, despite how cruel and inhumane his experimentation was. Even though he has contributed his medical research to the leaf after the fact. Tobirama is on the hidden leaf mount Rushmore, despite him creating the Uchiha police force as a means to isolate and control them. I'm not saying saskue deserves forgiveness. He just shouldn't be the only one in the conversation when it comes to either being unforgivable or left out when it comes to forgiveness. Sakura fetishized Saskue to the point that even she didn't realize the gravity of his actions or consequences. In my opinion, that's just karma for her. There are real people like that. Though I agree it feels a bit forced. I would like her at least to be as stern with Saskue if not more so than she was with Naruto. By coming to a realization of the scope of his actions. Her offering to kill Sasuke, in my opinion, is very disingenuous. Due to the fact that it's not something in her power or ability to do. Unless she is just offering herself up to the slaughter. she should have been the hardest one to win forgiveness from.
But he is the best character in the series, easily.

He was planning to use him as a replacement for Nagato. He needed someone else to revive Madara, as well as be the spark of the Infinite Tsyukiomi plan. Not to mention running out if Akatsuki members.
Sasuke did do most of the job (capturing part of the 8 Tails, getting rid of Kabuto, bringing back half the 9 tails through Minato, etc), albeit most wasn’t intentional (or necessary).
Overall, he needed someone to carry the Regganan so the God Tree could sprout faster and then all he or Madara would need to do is become a 10 tails jinchuriki, Infinite Tsukiyomi, and bam! But this was foiled, and Obito didn’t have enough chakra on his own, and didn’t want to risk dying before seeing his dream come true, so he had deviated from Madaras plan (or rather plan B by late war arc).
What confuses me is why he didn't try to get him on board the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan.
Itachi's situation is the prime example of what was wrong with the shinobi world,you would think he'd use that to convince him just as he did with Nagato.
